Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]

What I'll state here are only things I know will be able to be fixed by March. I know that the guys probably won't be able to change the area between the wall and advertisements on top, or the small scoreboards above the bullpens to be hanging off instead of being embedded, adding metal railings to all the aisle in the stadium, or adding exit tunnels in the upper deck so the poor fans don't have to climb up or repel down.

So here we go, with pictures from MLB 13 and real life.

The green wall color needs to be darker along with all the other green paint in the stadium like on the three other decks. All the green needs to be darker.

    From left to right.
Missing are the words Busch Stadium below the bullpen fence as well as the distance marker 375'.

The concrete that is holding the walkways on the brick towers needs to be black.

If possible, please add a few seats on top of the diagonal wall and paint the concrete around that new Show sign tan.

*Now you may be concerned with placing that advertisement on that same diagonal wall. It's okay, the photo I'm using is from 2011. There was an ad there in 2012 and it was red as well.*

The third photo is from 2012. You can see the ad and the few seats and tan color on top of that diagonal wall. This photo can also help you get the right color for the grass and warning track if it wasn't fixed already. I went into more detail about that in the Show Nation forums.

It would be cool if you could also add some of those red flowers around the foul pole. It talked more about this over on the Show Nation forums as well.

The more photos released of Busch Stadium for MLB 13, the more I can report on what looks right and what doesn't. I would love it if we can get some real progress in fixing it this year.

Also please make sure that the scoreboard shows the pitcher's info (at the bottom of the scoreboard on a separate screen) in color, not orange type, with the photo of the pitcher on the left side.

Also, another shot of the fountain and it's pattern:

Edit: After doing some research and playing around with camera angles, right field appears to be fine. The problem is the gaps in left field. You can literally see out of the stadium from any view, which is not the case.

The biggest problem I see with Busch Stadium is the huge gap of daylight between the second and third decks in right field, evident in the screen shot with Bryce Harper, and in every other game to this point.

In real Busch, the only daylight visible between decks is the slight gap between the third and fourth decks in right field. In the photo below, you can see this. You can also see in the post above.

There are actually concourses and things in the zone between decks 200-300 instead of this huge gap. It makes the section look like it is floating on air.

In left field, there is essentially no visible daylight at any section besides down the line, between levels 200-300.

The best evidence of this is the 360 degree pic from the mound on the Cardinals website, found here

Otherwise, I think it looks great.

Yes, yes, yes. I think it's because they don't have the building structures for the suites in the game. I guess the decks are really just floating in the game.

If you look in the Harper picture, you can't see through in between 100-200 because the suites are there. Not so for 200-300. I was really hoping this would be the year that all of this stuff got fixed. EN told me last year that they couldn't do most of it because they were "hardcore structural" things. Seems like it won't be. We might be fortunate and get Tony and Whitey's numbers retired this year though. Just have to keep trying and posting the same things every year hoping they will be implemented. I'm sure they've noticed by now.

For Yankee Stadium, please add "The Boss" mural behind right centerfield bleachers. I requested last year with photo so you should have it.

Unfortunately, that couldn't be done because of a licensing issue.

You also have to http://tinyurl.com/ mlb.com urls for them to work properly.

I would think that actual structural things should take precedence over little things like a flagpole here, or a missing ad there, right? I mean, in left field there's literally a hole in the seats where you can see out of the stadium--it's very strange and not true to life.

I'm not complaining because I think Busch looks very good, but I just think fixing these holes in the stadium would make it look so much better.

                    Progressive Field Upgrades/Updates

For The Jake the Indians Championship Banners need to be added next to the strikeout counter in right field (or on top of the dugout, as they were painted on this past season), and the rain tarp along the railing on the third base side.

...Also a change to the batter's eye/trees/Heritage Park area in center field would be welcomed, too.

Curious, Sony added the platform that the Progressive SUV sits on out in the center field seats...any chance they add a generic SUV to that platform this year? I know Sony couldn't put a real "Progresive" car there for obvious reasons last year. It's kind of silly just being an empty platform. Hell, I'd be happy if it was just eliminated all together (in real life, too, haha).

                    Thanks!

Im sure this has been covered but just in case it hasn't can you put the new 70 foot scoreboard screen in right Field at Wrigley Field as well as the NL team flags above the manual scoreboard. Thanks!!!!!!

I hope and pray they finally have the team flags flying over Wrigleys scoreboard and get the color scheme correct for the strike balls and outs.

                        Along with the scoreboard.

The scoreboard is in. There is already a picture of it.
