Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
"Life is like baseball, it's the number of times you arrive home safely that counts" -
Still no flag from what I can tell, but holy hell!!! That LED board looks nice. An the cubs logo in left center! Can't wait to get this game.
I won't hold them accountable for the flags and the teams that's on them above the scoreboard until the PS4 as I know how hard it is to get things like that in the game.Comment

Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
I forgot to mention, but I'd imagine this is an easy fix.
Please make this ribbon and it's counterpart in LF in The Show static advertisements. They are not ribbons in real life, they shouldn't be ribbons in the show.
It could have a blue background and say, "That's The Show". Or maybe it could have a hometown flavor and say, "That's A Winner" Jack Buck's famous saying.Last edited by sydrogerdavid; 12-18-2012, 06:09 PM.Comment

Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
Just a few requested improvements to everyone's favorite topic over the years... Turner Field!
Additions:
John Smoltz #29 - Added to Retired Number Row Above LF
LED Strikeout Tracker - Beneath Gas South Sign in Right Center
Requested Improvements:
Fix lighting bug that would cause some block letters around the stadium to disappear as dusk became night.
Possible brighter illumination of Coke Bottle and Braves Sign above scoreboard to allow these to stand out at night.
Possible to shape MLB The Show advertisement similar to Fly Delta signage above left field.
Contrast of font and background on scoreboard so stats can be read (I believe the current font in MLB 12 was white on light gray... things were difficult to read).
I appreciate anyone who has been patient enough to skim through these upgrades!Comment

Pretty sure I saw a screenshot that showed this was fixed, but just in case they need to fix the scoreboard at Comerica Park.

Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
I mentioned abunch of stuff before:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2044468397
But some more stuff about Rogers Centre I noticed:
In MLB12, their dugout has red walls with Jays logo on them. In real life, it doesn't look like that.
Obviously it won't need to say blackberry on it, but you get the idea. The walls should be blue, with small Jays logos on it. Wouldn't mind just having "MLB The Show" writing instead of Blackberry,so the walls won't look so plain.Comment

Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
Anytime a stadium gets some sort of a makeover, it’s always a good thing. That which is being done at Dodger Stadium is no different.
The Dodgers spent big not only on free agent acquisitions (Zack Greinke and Hyun-Jin Ryu), but they are also heaving cash toward improving the venerable Dodger Stadium, a sign that it will remain standing for the foreseeable future, and not blindsided by some multi-million conglomerate plan to relocate toward Downtown Los Angeles.
About $100 million will be put into the renovation.
Scoreboards will be replaced
The Dodgers have already ripped out the two scoreboards that lie inside of the outfield walls at each corner. Next up will be the two large scoreboards above the pavilions.
As far as what kind of scoreboards can expected? Only the best kind, one would surmise.
With the 1080p technology fading, the Dodgers are likely to explore the new 4k technology for its screens around the stadium, continuing to give Dodger fans the best experience in baseball.
Ultra-high definition, or 4k technology is what is used in theaters to watch big-name movies. It is four times the resolution of the widely popular 1080p, known right now as full high definition.
Addition of cell phone towers
Finally!
No, really, last season I had T-Mobile as my cell phone carrier and could never live tweet from a game, or post to Facebook; instead getting forced to wait until the closure of a ballgame.
At one game I ran into a friend (who was with Verizon) that was sitting in the Loge section, and had to climb up to the top of the section to attempt to make a phone call.
Not anymore.
The towers are scheduled to be placed next month and will help all to continue to watch the game without having to climb up the stairs, or leave the stadium for that matter.
New sight lines
There isn’t clarification about this, but every seat in Dodger Stadium faces straight forward, forcing fans to turn their heads to catch a glimpse of the game.
Many ballparks have changed this, instead rotating the angle of every seat so that it faces the mound.
The cushioned seats will remain in the field level, and the rest of the sections should be assumed to be next in the following offseason.
Bigger clubhouse
Who makes the fans happy?
The players, of course.
Why work in an unhappy environment?
Dodgers president Stan Kasten understands this and has signed off on a clubhouse that will be two or three times larger than before, and stands to be the third biggest in the Major Leagues (trailing the Red Sox and Cubs).
Understanding the feel for home-field advantage, Kasten has said that the visitor’s clubhouse will grow by just 50 percent, retaining the notion that they are still, just the visitors.
Meanwhile for the home team, a larger weight room, which will be known asthe health club, along with two batting cages to help the players improve themselves.
The visitors will also receive a weight room and batting tunnel, which will forever terminate anymore odd encounters between the Dodgers and their opponents, who previously had to share the stadium’s amenities.
Workers are vigorously moving so that each of these changes could be completed by April 1, or Opening Day 2013 against the San Francisco Giants.Last edited by DodgerFanatic2K3; 12-20-2012, 03:38 PM.Comment

Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
there are a few inaccuracies with Comerica Park. In the game, there is a gray chain fence at the top of the upper deck that is very noticeable and ugly. In real life, it's black, so it's not really noticeable.
Also, they have railing up and down the aisles in the game that they don't have in real life.
Other than that it's pretty good. The scoreboard will be in the new game, so that's all I can think off.JayElectronicaBluElzhi2PacTheNotoriousB.I.G.ReksSc arfaceFashawnJeruThaDamajaComment

Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
Lets not forget the adjustments that still need to be made to the center field scoreboard at wrigley field. The issues are the font color should be white for the batter number and also the Balls, Strikes and outs too all should be white not yellow.
Also for some reason the last letter "A" in "PHILADELPHIA" is missing on the scoreboard. So it looks like this "PHILADELPHI".
Also Kansas City is to close together with no space between so it looks like this "KANSASCITY" on the scoreboard. There needs to be a little space between KANSAS and CITY.
Have a look at the 3 screenshots to see what needs to be fixed. 2 are the real wrigley field and one is MLB 12 The Show.
Also I still wish that the division flags could be added above the scoreboard
There seems to be an issue with the scoreboard when there is no room for 11 spaces for letters on certain parts of the scoreboard. Thats why for "PHILADELPHIA" the "A" is missing and also why "KANSAS CITY" is shown as "KANSASCITY". It seems only random parts of the scoreboard because on some pats on the scoreboard "PHILADELPHIA' is not missing the "A" and same with "KANSAS CITY". On some parts "KANSAS CITY" is apart.
So if you can make room for 11 letters on all parts of the scoreboard this would fix the issue. I do not think city names would take more then 11 spots.
Hope this wil be fixed.Last edited by tnixen; 12-21-2012, 12:43 PM.Comment

Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
Please fix the new Marlins stadium outfield wall color.
Its currently way too dark in MLB 12 The Show.
Also the scoreboard I think needs to be updated.
Also both foul poles have the words ALERO on them. Maybe you could come up with a fake ad?Last edited by tnixen; 01-19-2013, 08:24 PM.Comment

Re: Stadium Upgrades for MLB 13 [Feedback]
I forgot, there is a huge problem with Comerica Park. There is a gap in the camera well in Centerfield, so you can see the building behind it, which is the same color as the ball. So when a right hander is on the mound, in day games/early in night games, you can't see the ball while it's pitched.
There shouldn't be a gap thereJayElectronicaBluElzhi2PacTheNotoriousB.I.G.ReksSc arfaceFashawnJeruThaDamajaComment
