There shouldn't be a gap there
I 2nd this motion...and hopefully we sill see that fountain go off after homeruns. This hasn't been done since ESPN Baseball in 2004.

Does this game update the looks of stadiums throughout the year. I know in NBA 2k13 the Suns, Lakers, Bobcats, Nets, Blazers, Clippers and Spurs all have new court designs. The game came out with the old design on the courts but then later changed them thru updates. Does this game make those changes too?

Most stadium change announcements are made ahead of time but making structural changes is a lot different from updating a court design so they try their best to at least get major changes. So changes throughout the year don't happen.

Never knew that bout the Marlins scoreboard before(the background on the team they face), never seen that with any other team. Cool that they had the opponents city skyline for when that teams batters are up to bat.

The scoreboard was actually traded to the Blue Jays along with Reyes, Johnson, and Buehrle.

                ORIOLE PARK AT CAMDEN YARDS:

CHANGE: Addition of seating and activity in outfield. I've attached a side by side image of the changes. On top of the batter's eye/ivy area is a new restaurant. Most visible from the field are the orange umbrellas and people populating the area. The same can be said for the new statue area behind the bullpens. While the additions of the monuments would be nice, just seeing more people and activity in that area would be nice.

Not a new addition, but I felt like this had to be addressed. The backstop at Rogers Centre should be altered a bit.

Screenshot (not from MLB 12 but it's pretty much the same):

How the backstop looks like in real life:

-Note the overall shape of the backstop, the size and type of font used for the "bluejays.com" and "rogerscentre.com" lettering, and the Jays logos. This would also be a good reference to see if any changes need to be made for the stadium broadcast camera, as well as the wall colors.

I wish they would make backstop screens a little less noticable. Sometimes I think they look weird..........

I don't think they realized that so many people used the broadcast camera views before

Didn't they just update the broadcast cam views so it reflects the real life broadcast cam view of each of the 30 MLB teams?

So I think they know that people use that view.

In the Wrigley Field screenshot behind the foul pouls it doesnt look like you can access the bleachers from the stands. I havent been to Wrigley in a few years but it looks like there is a 8 foot wall seperating the two???

                              Some recent Petco Park pics:

When renovations are complete, the deepest part of the park in the right-field power alley will be reduced from 402 feet to 390, which is the most significant distance change. If you can believe it, that spot was actually 411 feet when the ballpark opened in 2004. Also, the out-of-town scoreboard which was featured prominently on the right-field wall will be relocated as a part of the project. It's unknown where exactly that will fit in when the dust settles.

The San Diego Padres recently announced plans to move the fences in at pitcher-friendly Petco Park by approximately 10 feet from the indentation in the right-field corner all the way to right-center field — an area covering roughly 30 percent … Continue reading →

Jeez Louise! Now everybody will be able to hit it out of there. Honestly, I hate it when teams bring the fences in. They had an entire 8 years to build a team around gap hitters and speed. Now Petco is just like any other bandbox out there. It's cheap and unoriginal.
