Re: First MLB 13 The Show Screenshots
Besides, I don't get how some of you don't understand that the people that work on stats, gameplay, etc, are NOT the same people that work on visuals and presentation. There isn't any reason we can't improve one and not improve the other.
People, especially on here, seem to have a hard time comprehending that just because something is important to YOU doesn't mean someone else might not have other items at the top of their list. Your wants and needs are no more important or less stupid than theirs. We are all spending the same $60 on this game after all.Comment

Re: First MLB 13 The Show Screenshots
Interesting... If you go to Kotaku's article on The Show:
They seem to be indicating that the Kemp and Bautista shots are from the vita version. That would be very impressive if true."Life is like baseball, it's the number of times you arrive home safely that counts"Comment

Re: First MLB 13 The Show Screenshots
It's about both... let's not act like one thing is definitively more important than the other. Yes, baseball is a stats-driven sport. But, moreso than any other major athletic event outside of maybe college football, it's also an ambience driven sport. The sights, sounds, and overall atmosphere are extremely vital to making this FEEL closer and closer to the baseball we all love.

Re: First MLB 13 The Show Screenshots
After all these years, I sure hope they have finally fixed the huge ''beer bellies'' that all catchers sport in the game. LOL. Can't really tell by looking at Buster Posey's pic because he's holding his catching glove... well, right where it shouldn't be! LOL.Comment

Re: First MLB 13 The Show Screenshots
Oh, I get what you're saying.
The only reason I would argue against that notion is not because of the detail and visual beauty of the shot, but because I don't think SCEA or anybody else would ever upscale an image past its native resolution, which is 960 x 544. I can't tell if these shots exceed that resolution, but if they do, then it's probably safe to say they're not from the Vita version.
If they don't, then there's a fighting chance, which would certainly be excellent!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
