Seriously, I don't know. Miggy was on the cover of my game last year, although I didn't even pay attention to the case after I put the custom cover on. With SF being a second home, I've become a Posey fan too over the years.

Anyway, for the sake (and some positive exposure) of the hometown, I suppose Miggy will get the nod. And I'm a big homer, above all!

C'mon Guys. Why is nobody giving Posey any credit. Let's go through his first 3 seasons in the Majors. Rookie Year, Wins the Rookie of the Year and The World Series. Second Season, gets off to a hot start, and gets injured in a horrific collision. Third Season, Wins the MVP Award and the World Series.

I don't know what more this guy has to do or what more he can do. Whenever he plays, he wins the World Series hahaha. As a young catcher handling this talented San Francisco pitching staff he needs to get more respect. It's very rare that you see a catcher with his defensive ablilites do what he does on the other side of the plate with the stick.

I understand why others feel that Miguel Cabrera and Andrew McCutchen are deserving as well. But let's be honest we are choosing the spokesperson for MLB The Show. I don't know if I want my favorite game to be presented by a guy in Cabrera who was charged with a DUI in the offseason. It just sends off a bad vibe. I do like McCutchen, he is a tremendous ballplayer with every tool imaginable. However, I believe Posey is more desering based on his career achievements. ROY, MVP, 2WS

Hot start? Posey in 2011 completely lost his power and his OPS dropped dramatically, if anything that injury WAS his sophomore slump.
