Exactly, but would SONY not charge developers for the manufacturing costs and distribution of the game as well? Does that not affect their reported profits? I'd like to know the numbers since I doubt the cost of the PSN fees outweighs the cost of a retail disc (manufacturing, distribution, retailers etc).
I wonder what the real reason The Show isn't sold on PSN. Is it just the extra cost of creating a PSN version, are the PSN fees that high, or do they think the game has a better chance at market being a disc only game?
I dont think its the cost of putting the game on PSN (I think there is a much higher profit margin on digital sales compared to retail ones). It might just be that they think noone will buy a game that is 20+ gb on PSN.
But then again look at the Mass effect Trilogy and Rockstar collections on PSN, both cost $60 and are over 30+gb
Uncharted 2 is also over 20+gb and on the store.
