I remember a lengthy discussion about this in another thread, but can someone give me a recap on how the scorebug will work?

Will it say pitch type + MPH, only MPH or will there be some sort of option for only pitch type/MPH or both?

The pitch speed/pitch type will be shown on the scorebug. It will still be displayed on the scorebug EVEN when the pitch callout is turned off too.

For the guys that went to C.D and got to play around with the new Playoff Mode, did they add the extra umpires down the foul lines?

Just thought about something. Did they implement the "magic number" into the game? I've never noticed it if they have (albeit, all I play is RttS and I've never heard them mention it)

I haven't written much about this since few would care about what I write about presentation, but the guys (including myself) have mentioned how better integrated all the presentations are. The notion of TruBroadcast is to making the presentation all happen at real-time, as if you are really watching TV so that cut scenes & replays don't throw off the timing of all the events happening on the field (that's why they removed Real-time presentation option in 12)... and I think you'll definitely feel significant improvement in this... you don't feel as much disconnect when the game transitions between the game and the presentation. and there are different feels in all the major modes (Franchise, RTTS, Playoff) as well.

Overall I liked the improvement very much...

Thanks No....I did hate the 'snap back to the batters box' transition that happens in 12.

How did the OSD"s look?

I'm sure the numbers will be updated for the final rosters.

I'd hope so but I'm not just referencing the videos released this year. Last year, all season long in every single roster update Logan Morrison and others on the Marlins had their numbers wrong.

What on earth is a magic number?

It's the number of games that either your team must win or a combination of you team winning and a rival team competing for another spot loses that will seal a playoff spot for you.

You would usually see that towards the end of the regular season(of course)...they report on MLB and ESPN and here in the papers in N.Y.

It never crossed my mind to ask this since I assume it would be exactly the same as before, but might as well ask.

Do the batters in the game still grip the bat as they did in MLB 12? Are there any new stances you noticed where they hold the bat a bit more loose. It seems like all the batters over grip the bat in the game.

I didn't ask for this to be fixed as I understand how hard it would be given the batting system they have. I was only asking if there was any change at all made to this. To me, personally, it looks odd that every player seems to grip the bat the same way.

You'd be surprised at what people ask for. There was a string of posts about how the Bluejay's jersey color is too dark not to recently. Its the details that make the game as great as it is.
