- On batting stances does every player still grip the same? Look at their hands and you'll see what I mean. This has always pissed me off as I never held a bat this way and I see a lot of players don't either.Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - Presentation, Graphics & Sound - Questions/Concerns/Inquirie
Is there any chance that the on screen baseball (during gameplay) could look more 3 dimensional? Possibly even dirty up a very slight bit after the game starts and then have a shiny new ball when the ump has to throw a new one in?
If not the dirty part (really just thought of it and couldn't care less) but the ball itself looks 2 dimensional sometimes. Like if you throw a ball that gets away from the catcher, the ball will stop a few feet from the catcher but it looks like it was just placed on top of the 3 dimensional field. Looks 2d to me.
I think the ball that spins in the corner during the load times would look great and is more what I am talking about.
I know this will seem so trivial but the game to me looks so great and then every once in a while there is the glaring issue (like the baseball) that not everything is awesome. I think a more 3d ball, if possible, would add to the graphics/presentation.#WeAreUKComment

Re: Community Day 2013 - Presentation, Graphics & Sound - Questions/Concerns/Inquirie
About digital faces/players with digital faces. In 13' for the pregame presentation and scoreboard, and player cards if necessary since they have been redone, Can these players simply sport their Home jersey and Home cap? That's the way real life broadcast present them almost 100% of the time, plus thats how you present the photo-having players in the game MLB 12'. But currently when a digital face is displayed and I'm not wearing just home jerseys and caps, they mismatch with the rest of the squad. I think this is an easy fix, so I hope that can make it in 2013.Last edited by @legendm0de; 01-16-2013, 12:53 AM.Red LegendComment

One of the most fascinating things about The Show is the player likeness, essence, mannerism.
-In terms of player models, do you see a huge difference in players being updated with proper facial hair, beard, weight?
Thanks and enjoy itComment

im glad I have just remembered this because this has pained me. In editing players, please work it out and have us see them in uniform, not MLB free agent gear. It's really discouraging to try and tinker with accessories and color schemes, we may want to put on players but they're standing in a Blue and White MLB the Show free agent uniform. Please, let us have them in uniform and if possible even select team uniform where we can apply our changes. I hope this can be worked out immediately,

Re: Community Day 2013 - Presentation, Graphics & Sound - Questions/Concerns/Inquirie
thats what i feared, well while im on an assualt for requests. Another thing that gets under my skin, pregame, pitcher warm ups the organ music has to be done away with. It just never ever happens, usually I've seen my team play pitchers specific warmup music in real life. My scheme in 12 was to have a pitchers warm up music on to enter the game but when its time to warm up the organ plays ....
I'd rather hear no music at all, than how it currently goes. I hope this has already been addressed, I can already think of pretty obvious adjustments. Anyhow I hope somebody can dig into that on community dayRed LegendComment

Well I will certainly ask about the starting pitcher warmup music. So it's not part of the player's custom entry music? Regardless, I'll ask.
As for the team color thing, I guess that I can make a suggestion of showing the team colors in some sort of color key/legend box, on the player edit screen. That way you don't have to go all the way into a game only to find that the colors are not what you expected.

Re: Community Day 2013 - Presentation, Graphics & Sound - Questions/Concerns/Inquirie
I would like to know if the camera still instantly switches to the fielding view when the bat contacts the ball. The one thing I really like about the 2K series is that the camera stays in the batter's view for a second or two and allows the ball to travel before switching to the fielding view. This is more realistic (how it's done in real life broadcasts), and I think it looks amazing considering it simulates the view a hitter has when watching the ball travel.
Besides that, I'm curious to know if there are any subtle tweaks to the live-action presentation regarding cameras, timing for transitions, etc.

Will there be an option for the team music (Walks, RBI, etc) to override the batter walk up music whenever a Team event song is played?Last edited by TN - BRAVES FAN; 01-17-2013, 08:01 AM.Comment
