Take batting practice at Wrigley with either Rizzo and Castro. I want to see their stances, improved ball physics and the updated Wrigley.

Re: What will you play first?
There is a video of the cubs where you can see Castro's new stance, unless they updated it since then. They did update Kemp's recently so who knows.
I did not like what I saw. He just looks way too stiff, they have his high leg kick, but the stance just looks...wrong.
and as pointed out by someone else you can get a very very brief look at Rizzos new stance. His has potential, while Castro's I don't know. I just dont like it.

Re: What will you play first?
Usually RTTS until OSFM comes out, then I start my franchise. I may not wait this year though. In the past I always waited, not so much for the real minor league guys, but for accurate portrayel of the talent in the minors. The Show's fake minor leaguers were often way too good, better than some of the guys on the MLB squad. With the new franchise and new progression, they may have redone their fake minor leaguers, and if so, I may just start franchise on day one.Comment

Yeah I think I'm just going to start a franchise from the get go this year. I want to get deep into it this year and waiting a month to start will hinder that.Usually RTTS until OSFM comes out, then I start my franchise. I may not wait this year though. My one concern was what the SCEA minors were like but most folk say they are ok. Ill probably edit and create the top 100 or top 5 per club.
Then I just have to decide to do an A's, Royals, Astros or Jays franchise.Comment

Re: What will you play first?
Same here. I wait for OSFM, then start. Then OSFM v2 hits, and I restart. Then some other OSFM set (rerates) comes out and I restart. I just cant seem to every get my franchise going when I know there is a newer better set coming out soon. It drives me nuts. Im thinking about just starting on day 1 and not looking back. But that will really depend on how well the SCEA fake minor guys are created.Comment

Re: What will you play first?
Well just by chance I start my vacation March 4th at 2PM. So I'm thinking about skipping the OS rosters this year as I want to dive into Franchise mode which is something I never done before. I've always just played season and RTTS.Comment

Thank you, sir. Yeah, Castro's isn't really close, but it's not as far off as Soriano's ha.There is a video of the cubs where you can see Castro's new stance, unless they updated it since then. They did update Kemp's recently so who knows.

Re: What will you play first?
Most likely will be doing a bunch of exhibition games with random teams, to see the stadiums, improved physics, sounds, etc. Might try out Playoff Mode as well. This is all to kill the time until OSFM to start my franchise.Comment

Re: What will you play first?
I'd say I will probably mess around with Playoff Mode every few days with my Yankees using last years bracket, but will mostly just be playing exhibition games until March 31st or whenever the OSFM rosters come out. Once April 1st hits, I will play along with the real MLB season as best as I can. (I know they have "The Show Live" this year, so I'll test it out.)
Something I like to try to do (but have only actually done it all once or twice) is play one exhibition game in every one of the 30 MLB ballparks before Opening Day. Just a way to waste some time and see stadium upgrades before the regular season starts.
Another thing I do once the regular season gets underway is play along as much as I can with the real season, and on off days and sometimes on the weekends I play RTTS. That's about 20-30 days of RTTS per year which isn't too much as I am not a diehard RTTS guy, although I enjoy it a few times a month.Comment

Re: What will you play first?
On this topic, I think his player model looks pretty good. Being a Pirates fan, I think you are going to be blown away by this year's Cutch.
As far as the thread topic... I don't even know. It's so many options!Comment

Ill be doing road to the show because the first thing i want to do is create a player. I do what i did for mlb12 and create my son and play with him. Im hoping that name request thread worked and my last name made it in but im not counting on it.
The ign video where the guy getting interviewed mention the new customization options got me excited.
Then ill start franchise with a draft until opening day roster are available.Last edited by Casino; 01-29-2013, 05:17 PM.Fight On for ol' SCOur men Fight On to victory.

I cannot wait to see the updated Wrigley and get to play there! That was one of my biggest disappointments last year.Comment
