MLB 13 The Show Preview (New York Post)

The New York Post has posted their MLB 13 The Show preview.

One of the most popular modes year-in and year-out, Road To The Show, remains mainly unchanged, which is a not necessarily a bad thing. The biggest change that will be evident is the presentation and how your character is seen on the field. There will be minimal commentary during the actual games as you work your way to the Majors and you will hear the different sounds of the game, such as a fellow player calling for a fly ball, more clearly.

Another point of view, kinda down played the RTTS changes a little. I think the polish may be what any of us that have not played the game yet is missing for true perspective.

Are you referring to the sounds being taken out? There wasn't that much said about it in the article.

And the trade issue, like a lot of the logic that might not please everyone can be bypassed if you reload a save, turn injuries to manual and injure yourself for the days that you were being traded. You can just injure yourself for a few days and then you can continue and they won't try to trade you again immediately.

I'm surprised about the part discussing the problem of pulse pitching being too difficult. I actually loved how it actually had human players walking batters for once. It was so easy to throw strikes before pulse, but that made it feel so much more organic like a real game where even a great pitcher will walk a batter or two.

Ill be happy with RTTS as long as they tweaked the trade logic cause by the time u make it to your mlb team almost all of the star players have been traded n u don't even know how the trade went down wish they kept u updated more about what goes on with club your with even if your in the minors .How do u injure yourself in RTTS?

The way people have talked or the non talk about RTTS is reason I said taken out more then added only thing I can see new is player specific commentary n new fielding cam or motion for an outfielder which is good for people who play the outfield I usually jus play ss or pitcher.

I think the "Miley Cyrus Caught In Bed With Harry Styles" headline got me laughing the hardest! The interview itself wasn't that great and didn't have a ton of information that hasn't been repeated twenty times already, but seeing all of these previews make me realize just how close March is!

Nemesis said he didn't notice it being toned down like the article said. But he was on HOF and legend.
