Re: Yankee hat logo too thick? Or is it just me

I never had a problem with the hats....I mean, except for the permanent sweat stain on every player, manager, and coaches hat that for some reason they refuse to get rid of.

If they were going to change ONE thing about the Yankees uniforms, I would rather it be that they make the number a little higher up on the back. They have it placed in the same spot as uniforms of teams who have their names on the back, and in The Show, the numbers on the Yankees backs are just too low.

There are different departments as far as I'm aware. This is for the art department.

Won't affect other more important things.

I believe this is because all uniform templates are the same...and it accounts for the names on the back of the jerseys of the rest of the teams.

Yeah I figured that. I just think that since so many teams have at least ONE version of their uniform with no name that it would warrant making a second template, because while I understand they only have one template, it still doesn't make it accurate to what the Yankees and other teams actually wear in real life.

I completely agree with your gripe about the sweat stains. Sometimes when I play the game I think to myself - One pitch has been thrown and already this guy is sweating like he just finished a race against Carl Lewis.

I don't like the sweat showing up so early either, but I'd rather it was there than non-existent. But one could also argue that the sweat came from warm ups since if you pay attention I think the sweat is there before a pitch is even thrown. In the intro to games, there is often an animation of the pitcher wiping sweat off his forehead with his sleeve.

But in general the sweat does look to be overdone. Looking at some images of players I rarely can tell there is any sweat at all. So maybe it should be toned down.

We are officially out of problems if this is what we are complaining about.

Once another blog comes out the herd will turn their attention in that direction. Usually when there is a lull in the action, the microscope comes out and the forensics are in full force. Makes for interesting reading.

                      No complaining, just discussing.

I agree. We can bring up any points we have that are appropriate to the game. I take complaining as HAMMERING the same point over and over and in a more direct, aggressive tone. This is just a point a fellow The Show gamer brought up.

I don't recall this happening in earlier editions of the show or am I wrong?
The sweat would appear like in the 6th inning or something...
Couldn't it be a glitch that everyone is sweating from the first pitch? Even the coaches haha.

Hah, wow, I made some people mad with this post.

This stems from looking at the cyber faces. When a player has a cyberface on the yankees, their hat looks markedly different than it does on the players who have picture-mugshots. I was just pointing out that the hat logo is a little...off. Not complaining. Love the show and have bought it every year going back to when it was called MLB Pennant Race on PS1.

Then, in the summer of 97, when MLB 98 came out, I absolutely lost my **** because I didn't even know it was coming out...and it had my boy Bernie on the cover. And it played great.
