You shouldn't be seeing long sleeves unless the temperature is below 65 (may be 60) degrees. That's the threshold...

Most people wear short sleeves during days that are in the 60's. Most baseball players wear the short sleeves when it is in the lower 50's. This needs to be fixed.

I agree that the threshold should be lowered even further. My response was more to the guys who said they were seeing everyone wearing long sleeves when the temps are in the 70s and 80s... that just doesn't happen, in game.

This seems like a really small thing..but it annoys me to no end. Really hope this is fixed. Sleeves shouldn't be worn unless it's below 40 to be honest.

The workaround for this is to make one of the sleeves 3/4. This works unless the temp is below 40-50 I believe. I used this for Morneau since he rarely wears long sleeves.

My personal gripe is just that every player has the same temperature tolerance. In real life on a 55 degree day, for example, you'll have maybe 8 guys in long sleeves, than other guys who don't mind the cold as much. Some guys wear long sleeves practically all year, etc...

At the very least, I'd like to see it randomized a little bit, so that in the 50-65 range, players have an X% chance of wearing long sleeves, instead of it being universal and guaranteed.

I'm sure there's not enough memory to make some sort of player-specific system, but I'm absolutely fine with complete arbitration here.

Could be a game level setting.

During somewhat cold games (50-65 like you said maybe) players who do not have sleeves in the editor wear sleeves. So you could decide at least if you want all players to wear sleeves, or just the ones that usually do.

There should be an option in the player editor that would say "Long Sleeves in the Cold," with Yes or No option.

That would work.
Personally....I only want to see long sleeves in my historical sets....and if it's really cold in a game.

I've asked them to recheck the temps...but it was crunch time.

It would be better if SCEA added a time and weather option. In exhibition games, Night games don't get dark until the bottom of the 7th and its not even completely dark until the bottom of the 9th. On top of that, every night game in Toronto has the players wearing long sleeves even in the summer time. Why can't SCEA just add in the feature to play in the SkyDome with the roof closed. Same for Houston, Miami, Arizona, and Seattle.

The roof closed thing has been beat to death and should be let go. My guess is people have gotten their point across, the devs. know and it will probably be something we see in the next gen..

I do wish they could just bump up the temps across the board for all stadiums so they are more realistic in that sense.

In The Show, time moves in correlation with pitch count, so.. that's also something to keep in mind.
