MLB 13 The Show Video - New Features (Screen Captures Included)

Quick question about cameras... In a regular MLB broadcast there is a slight Transition delay from the broadcast pitchers view to the ball being shown hit into play. Is that an option in this years game?

No there is not... yet. There is definitely the flexibility in the game's engine to add it in the future, so I think it's a strong possibility going forward.

I think it might be that the players don't hold onto there helmets when they round the bases after a homerun like the ugly animation in the past.

I think it might be that the players don't hold onto there helmets when they round the bases after a homerun like the ugly animation in the past.

I was thinking the same thing. I hated that.

That Blue Jays jersey is still waaaaayyyyy too dark.







I look forward to the PS4 where they can hopefully have more realistic numbers and scripts (the satiny reflective material) NBA 2k replicates that material well. I think that's part of the problem on the Blue Jays home and away jersey being too dark.

I'm still not too sure why the blue jersey is so wrong though. I know absolutely nothing about programming though so maybe it's a hard thing to change?

Game looks fantastic though. Really can't wait until March 5th.

But they all have different lighting sources this changes the shade and since we do not have a Blu Jay's jersey in house. The artist went through some colors and we picked what looked accurate from the data we have.

Thanks for your response. I know the jersey colour hasn't to do with PS4, I was just referencing real life twill scripts and numbers which can change shades in different lights. Hopefully we will see that kind of material replicated in PS4.

Even in its darkest shadows in real life it isn't as a dark Navy blue as that. Looking at the screenshot even the parts of the jersey that are in direct sunlight are too dark. if you look at the walls in the background even that colour would of been better in my opinion. I'm sure you have tons of reference for things like that though.

If you look at the actual Blue jays logo there are two shades of blue. A light one and a dark. It seems like the dark shade from the logo has been used.

It's obviously not a massive deal, but I reckon a whole load of Canadiens and Blue Jays fans will be unhappy with it.

It may not be as dark as the one in the game, but its darker than the pic you posted.

Yep it's darker but I still think its way off. Considering that pic is a floodlit Game inside a dome and the screenshot is a day game.

And a HECK of a lot darker than your example.

And I disagree that that colour is the same. To me it is way off. It is a much warmer blue than that dark navy blue. It should be closer to the KC royal blue or the Indianapolis colts blue.

If you look at that screenshot you posted you can see an LED ribbon in the background. It should be more like that colour.

Anyway I'm fighting a losing battle with you. You think it's bang on, I think it's wrong.

Nowhere did you ask for a color that was the SAME and nowhere did I claim it was the SAME.
You asked for "As Near As" and I gave it to you.
