I bet that for every uniform set listed, there won't be any alternates. Also, this will replace all of the throwbacks we already had.

So for the 2001 Blue Jays, we're only going to get the home and road uniforms, I'm betting on it. Still, it's nice to have those jerseys. The only other jerseys they could have gone with was the Black Jays and… just no.

SCEA had the Nolan Ryan 89-93 Rangers set up until '10 when they added in the '77 & '85 set. The set that was in last year had the Rangers 85-93 Road uniform but the home Uniform was slightly different than the Nolan Ryan era home uniform as it had the Red bill, White "T" cap and batting helmet. But I'm glad the 94 set made it in.

Here is the set that was in last years game minus the Red and Blue alternates.


I'm also thrilled to see the 1982-89 Cubs set make it in and the 1985-1990 Padres uniforms make it in as their current set is too bland.





There is a video already posted with the Pirates in the Yellow Jersey/Black Pants uniform so hopefully SCEA put in the Black Jersey/Yellow Pants as well.


I'm anxious to see which of the 1976 Indians uniform made it in as they had several that season.

Well Im sure if they kept the '93s and junked the '77s, someone else would think it was off, so......

You're missing my point. I thought that there would be additional spots for this year. That's why I said something was off. It proves why it's wrong to assume things.

White Sox '17 and '71 were definitely in last year. Real White Sox will be wearing 83 jerseys as alts this year to celebrate 30 year anniversary of 83 AL West Division Champs.

It looks like there's a lot of duplication from last year.

Do we know what the new 30 are? Boston, Washington, Philadelphia and Toronto examples they show in the post were available last year, no?

IDK if youre specifically asking me or just in general, but I have no idea. I no longer have '12 so I cant reference them. All I know is that Lance was asked what throwbacks would be in '13 and this is what he listed.

SCEA didn't even bother to add new throwbacks for the Mariners or White Sox. I'll take the 1983 set over the 1971 set any day. I'm also p*ssed that the 1972-1992 California Angels didn't make it in. SCEA instead put in the 1961 inaugural and the lame 1997-2001 set.

Just questioning, some of these will be alternates from that season right? I'm asking cuz the Marlins set says 93 and 97, in both of those years the home and road jerseys were exactly the same although the caps were different (93 teal caps vs 97 black caps)... however the 1997 team had some pretty iconic alternate sleeveless vests, the ones they wore the night they won the World Series. Any clue if these vests are what made it in for the 1997 unis?

Well this is disappointing, the White Sox have had the same throwbacks in The Show for years now, all i've wanted was the '83 jerseys included, since they are wearing those every Sunday now. Idk why they keep the 1917 jerseys in the game, they are ugly, I would of preferred them scrapping the 1917 and the 1971, and adding the 1983 and the 1954 jerseys.

I'm not angels fan, but I like those too. Not cause it looks good, but cause those were jerseys angels wore during days I first watched baseball(so games like hardball 6,all star baseball 2000 and stuff like that, I saw that angels logo/jersey)

I think there is one major thing that everyone here is forgetting. SCEA can only use the jerseys that are available in the MLB Style Guide. If a certain jersey is not in the MLBSG, SCEA cant use it, even if they did in the past.
Some teams update their SG every year and some dont.
Not to mention that some teams dont release the actual on field jerseys in the SG because they want those jerseys to be on field exclusive.

As much as I agree with some of you on this jersey or that jersey, in the grand scheme of things its not THAT important and we just have to deal with what they are allowed and/or chose to use.
