Odds are we will see a new MLB 13 The Show roster update before the game ships on March 5th, but thanks to chrisjohnson83, the current list of free agents in the game can be seen right here.

He won't be in the game because he hasn't pitched in the MLB in 2 seasons because of injuries. I'm sure he could be created in OSFM though.

He signed with the Pirates after the game rosters already locked. SCEA will have an updated roster once the game comes out.

Yep, so is Jose Contreras and Jonathan Sanchez. They release a roster update on the realease day, correct?

Yeah Inge will be with the Pirates and Bourn will be with Indians.

Yes. If I remember correctly, they'll have their real mugshots with the correct hat on in the updated roster.

There's some pretty good free agents in there. For franchise mode I had hoped there'd be some good guys left in the free agent pool by the time OSFM dropped so I could sign them to either trade at the deadline or make a run in 2013. From that list I'm willing to bet that Oswalt, Rolen, Thome, and Sizemore will still be available on Opening Day; I'm pretty sure Braden is hurt and hasn't pitched in nearly two years anyway so I bet he will too. Probably a couple of decently rated relievers too. There's actually a decent chance that I won't be able to afford the available players I want, which is kind of nice in a sort of disappointing way.
