I like how AI uses intentional walk when a pitcher goes behind (1-0 count) late with men on in a close game.

... could be happening a bit too often but I don't remember seeing this in the past, so it's a nice addition.

I get this too but also they sometimes throw a strike then intentionally walk me and I'm just left a little confused.

Was playing a pirates game, hit a Homerun with Garret Jones to Rf over the Clemente wall. Then I heard Matt Vasgergian say just like the Pirates tv commentator would say "Clear the deck is a cannonball coming" trying to make refrences to the Piarates Tv Broadcaster Greg Brown !!!! Amazing this game is so realistic ... I was in shock when I heard Matt say this. I was like I know he just did not say that ..

People bash on the commentary a lot, rightfully so as they don't talk much. However, when they do talk they have some great lines.

I LOVE the white, wispy smoke effect on the player name plates as they come up to bat. I didn't buy 2012 so I can't be 100% sure if they are new, but I love them!

I had a pretty great moment in RTTS yesterday. So I'm on the Phillies, currently not a starter but I'm on the MLB bench, so I get to pinch hit every now and then.

I got an opportunity to pinch hit in SF against the Giants with 1 runner on base. They bring in a lefty reliever. So as I always do in lefty-vs-lefty situations, I set up my PCI zone low and inside for a pitch to pull to right field.

First pitch is exactly where I set up, and I absolutely blasted it out of AT&T park, and into the water.

Was up 3-2 top of the 9th bases loaded 1 out and the Mets pitcher intentionally walked Wieters, who had a Hr and a double, to force in a run to get to Jones who was 0-4 with 3k's. Wow

The other night playing RTTS ( MLB level ) I was batting left handed and tried to lay down a bunt to the third base side of the diamond. I got the bunt down but before it gets halfway to third base it was real close to staying fair but almost going foul when the third baseman charges the ball and knocks it foul with his glove, I hated him for that play but it was really awesome to see, so again for me another attention to detail with this game.

Saw the 3rd base trick for the first time yesterday.

Tripled with Adam Jones and in the next cutscene the Matt Dominguez (the Astros 3rd basemen) went over to Bud Norris to talk to him. I noticed he still had the ball in his hand as he went back to 3rd base and Jones was standing a few feet off 3rd. Dominguez then quickly tried to tag Jones whilst he was still hiding the ball. Jones made it back to the bag and then Matt Vasgergian started talking about he tried the 3rd base trick.

Such a cool little thing to see in a video game. I was genuinely worried he was gonna tag Jones out!

I'm not sure if this was intentional, but I was batting with Brandon Belt, and I took a strike and it said "And he takes that one below the belt" I found it hilarious, although I somewhat doubt it was intentional.

I hit the cycle and didn't realize it until I completed it with a single! I also had a Ron Simmons moment during the game. Vas and Co. mentioned it and the graphic said "Player has just completed the cycle". Videos in spoiler.
