I've never seen this before, but I was playing Opening Day with the Giants @ Dodgers, and after throwing a pitch with Matt Cain, he motioned for another ball and they threw him one. You don't see who throws it (could only be one of two people anyway), as it's just a shot of Cain, but fairly cool nonetheless.

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
Was playing the Marlins last night with my Phils when I saw something awesome.
Morrison was on first when Dobbs slapped it over to Utley at second. He made a dreadfully slow turn, but got the ball to Rollins just before Morrison reached second. A nice slide separated the ball from J-Roll's glove, but the umpire still gave us the out. He said that it came out on the transfer.
Then, the Marlins manager comes jogging out to second base, where he proceeds to argue with the umpire for about 30 seconds. All the while, the announcers are explaining the rule and what exactly happened. Very, very cool.Writer for Operation Sports

Game goes to extras. In the Top of the 12th, one of the commentators says, "There will be no episode of The Wilkerson's following the game."
Thought it was cool how they mention the extra inning game impacting the TV schedule that night.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
So, I'm playing a game against the Mets in my Rockies franchise, and John Niese is absolutely carving me up.
I was swinging and missing at everything in the zone, and he was up to 14 strikeouts. I can't remember the last time I had double-digit strikeouts in a game.
I'm down 2-1 in the 7th, and Niese quickly gets to two strikes on the hitter (I can't remember which one at the moment). All of a sudden, I look closer at the TV, and I realize that it's been turned ever so slightly. I'm assuming my fiance probably moved it while she was cleaning, no big deal. I get up and turn it back to it's original angle...and BAM!
Triple, single, single, and just like that the game is tied! I went on to win the game, and take 3 of 4 in the series.
All it took was shifting the angle of the television by an inch or so, if that, to correct all of my problems.
They weren't kidding when they said baseball is a game of inches...MLB 13 The Show Dynasty -- Mile High Magic Returns: A Colorado Rockies Dynasty Is BornComment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
This has most likely been mentioned but i forgot to pause it and when i came back David Murphy was doing sit ups in the outfield then a few other players were doing exercises and waving to the crowd but the fuuny one was the royals dugout trying to get a mexican wave going with about six guys, the players on the ends didn't want a bar of it so the guy had to keep starting it over.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
So I still can't figure out how to create a new thread, it just isn't letting me.
However, I think this is a good place to post my issue.
The year is 2017, Mike Trout is the ripe age of 25, and he is getting worse. He has been a 99 for a few years (and for good reason), but last year he started getting worse. Whyyyyyy??????Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
I wasn't sure where to post this and am unable to start a new thread, so I thought this would be a good place:
I am playing in an online league with 2 friends, all other teams CPU controlled. We have schedule set to open (auto) with 4 days to complete series. In hindsight, this was too long but obviously cannot change this. 4 days passed and the CPU "resolved" all games in their first series. All games ended with a score of 4-2, and no stats were compiled, no wins or losses were given.
Anyone know what is going on here or how to fix this???Comment

Rick Ankiel was hustling to first and the play was very close. He was called out and there was a cut scene with him arguing the call. Well he was ejected!!! The game was down to the wire when he was elected.PSN: Dreamchaser_865

A's vs Yanks, Cano hits home runs in his first two AB's. So his third AB I throw at him, just so he doesn't hit another one, well I miss and it goes behind him. He starts to walk out to the mound yelling at Colon until Jaso gets in his way and stops him. The ump walks out and sends Cano and Jaso back to the plate as Cano continues to yell and point at Colon and Jaso.Athletics Franchise:

I once hit a spring training cycle with Robinson Cano, who's a slow player in this video game. It was a great moment, he finished off the cycle with a triple, I think.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
In my Tigers franchise, I was playing the first game of a four game homestand against the Twins. I was clubbing and them and midway through the game, Matt mentioned that in AL history, 5 teams have scored at least one run in every inning during the course of a single game, and mentioned the last time it happened (Royals in the 90s I believe).MLB: Detroit Tigers

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
This also probably doesn't belong in this thread but has any one seen a message after selecting your line up that the pitching staff has lost faith/confidence(or something similar) in your catchers leadership.
Happened in my rangers franchise but i picked A.J any way, not sure if there's any penalty or if it effects the pitchers confidence.Comment
