MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
Since some users here on OS confirmed that they have the game, I thought we could start our yearly "The Little Things" thread. If it's still a little too early to have this thread, the mods can close this until the release date or something.Tags: None -

Well to start off I guess,I was playing the RTTS tonight( Sprinfield Cardinals ) , my first at bat , first hit in AA was a 3 run HR to right field, as I am rounding the bases a comment pops up about my first hit was a HR in AA and the announcers commented on it as well, very cool touch. When you come to a fork in the road, take it..... Haven't played the show for a couple years... Was playing 13 earlier and I hit a shot right back up the middle.
Ball bounced off his right leg (watching the replays and all) and there's a cut scene of him limping a little bit and the announcers talking about how toughing it out may not be good for him since he got hit in the plant leg. Just really immersive there.badComment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
Hit a hard line drive to the centerfielder he misjudge the ball over Ran it, went over his head and rolled all the way to the wall. His first step was in so it looks like the reactions Stat actually does something.Comment

Marlins & Giants (me):
Brandon Crawford is standing on first, and Gregor Blanco digs in. Blanco smashes one deep to right, I was thinking HR right off the bat.
But the ball dies at the warning track and Stanton makes a brilliant over the shoulder grab, before looking back and realising Crawford thought it was gonna land and is the wrong side of second. Cue Crawford rushing back to be narrrowly doubled off by Stanton's throw. Awesome play.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
I was watching the AAA pre-game show in RTTS when Matt highlighted me and said I was having a hot bat. Steve then said if it wasn't for a full 40 man roster, I would be in The Show. Very nice addition to the game.Last edited by kilmar1; 03-04-2013, 11:44 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
I like the new camera after the ball is hit, it showed a nice slicing ball to right field that trailed away from the outfielder nicely. I like the "on the fly" stats as they seem to be more in depth so far this year.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: The Little Things Thread
By far for me it has to be the MPH showing in the scorebug when pitch callout is off. A last minute change by the dev team and one that has been asked about for years by the community.

Now for next year, only MPH shown and not pitch type.Comment
