We have alot of filler posts (mine included) of saying nothing is wrong, or everything is wrong or inbetween. Without the actual posting of exact information it would be very hard to fix. I would agree with Knight, if it was a "game" issue we would all see it regardless of PS3 model.

I haven't had the pitching stuttering issue. The cut-scenes i do see some stutter. I have a
PS3 slim, 160GB (the default HD for it)
the PSN version
i have media server off
i generally am not connected to the internet when i play
i use the catcher cam to hit

I feel people without the issue posting their information can be as helpful as those with it.

I disagree with this, I never got the clone glitch in NBA 2K10 and that was a game issue.

I'm considering formatting my PS3 to restore it to factory settings. I'm not decided yet...

The "If it was the game we'd all see it" mantra is true most of the time. It isn't true ALL of the time, however. Sometimes a flaw in the game only manifests itself when combined with a unique set of hardware circumstances. Examples include computer operating system issues, smart phone apps crashing, etc...

The NBA2k example is a good one too. Last year there was a freezing issue with NBA2k that only some users got. But that was clearly a software issue.

Agreed. I can't even count the number of times people have had freezing issues with various games like NCAA Football that I never experienced personally, but were real software issues that ended up getting patched.

But that's kind of the point.

Of course it's the game to some extent..but..

If in one situation ....the game runs fine....then then I doubt it can really be just that game....know what I'm saying?(unless...it's a combination of how you set up options on your game...which it can be I guess)
If it's a combination...then the problem may be in either something the game is doing/looking for within the console/media/etc...
Or it could be something within the system/setup that is causing the game to hang up.

Either way.....it's got to be figured out....but continuing to say...."it's the game" is not a real help

Does the stutter happen with all the hitting cameras? Has anyone tried the others to see if it is a specific camera view?

I'm using custom, based on catcher 1. Tell me which camera you use, and I will test it

I have tried a few. I didn't have a problem with any of them. I use a custom one even.

Just played BlueJays-Indians and the stuttering didnt happen. So looking like its either random or tied to specific stadiums or maybe players IDK.

The menu music stutters too. So do plays in the field. Much worse then any previous the show.

Just played Dodgers(me) vs Marlins
Night game at Dodger stadium
Happened in first inning. Something I've noticed is when it happens to me it's always in the first inning. Weird I know and it again its so far and few that its not a game breaker for me

I chose 10 gb install. But in the menu it says delete 5 gb data. What is wrong?

The other option is 5gb install, there is no option to not have an install at all. Thus it wouldn't allow you to delete the entire 10 GB, only the additional 5 that you chose to add on.

If you select that option, it will be equivalent to only having a 5 GB install.
