I finally bought the game yesterday and have also seen the pitcher stutter issue several times already. I also noticed it during rtts games, not only when batting, but while I'm on base.

Man, I don't complain much on here & I usually try to keep my mouth shut, but this studdering is just ridiculous. I just don't know how this game went gold with this issue...& also, whoever said this game didn't have this issue last year better think again...as a matter,11 did the same thing...11 AND 12 especially at night or w/ multiple runners on base...the lag was significant.

It seems the more I play this game, the more the studdering gets worse. When I 1st popped it in it seemed fine for 5 games or so...but now it's terrible...studdering AND dropped framerates...like an old flickering effect. I really hope this issue gets resolved soon, because the game is almost unplayable for me.

.....and this is why i am not buying this game yet. big fan of the series, but ain't no way i am buying this thing until massive problems are resolved. i am certain San Diego is working on a patch, but until i hear these issues are fixed, money stays in my pocket.

Mine freezes a half a second before the pitcher releases the ball, so its hard to time a hit.

I have had this happen several times while playing exhibition games. Has happened at Progressive Field and other parks. It also stutters during intro like it did in 11(?) and they released a patch for that. Hope one is coming soon as the stop and then start freezing when the pitcher releases the ball is annoying.

Luckily those of us serious about baseball and gaming will be done with the PS3 soon. This system is being pushed way passed its prime.

I've had problems I've played one game online and during the whole game our pitchers stuttered. So frustrated with that I haven't gone back. I'll give it some time. So instead I started rtts player and every batting training session it stutters. During games in rtts it pops up rarely until I got promoted to the majors. Now it's happens a lot during games and training sessions.

Can we get some REAL info about the patch? (If there will be one) It's really boring having the game for 2 weeks now, and not being able to play it due to the stuttering.

Nothing has been released yet. When info comes out, best believe it will be plastered all over here.

I also have this happen pretty consistently and was looking to see if others were experiencing the problem, I however, am not experiencing the stutter anywhere else int he game. I have a newer model PS3 and it is in an open air environment so I am sure that it is not over heating...

Really frustrating trying to time a pitch when the stutter happens right as the ball is being released.

Hopefully it an be fixed.

Good news well I am not sure if it will work for everyone but I have experienced the "Pitch Lag" what I call it almost every day for the last week and a half. I have played several different friends of mine so its not just 1 opponent or random ones.

Anyways I am a classic pitching style gamer but me and a good friend decided to use METER pitching once the "pitch lag" started in our games last night and to our findings the pitch lag or pitch stutter was almost none existent.

Not sure if it was just a fluke but we played about 4 games and tried classic again and the stutter pitch lag returned.

I use Classic pitching and have not had one single stutter, and I've played over 50 games. I did have an occasional stutter with last year's game.

I think it must be a fluke because I've seen terrible stutter since day one and I exclusively use meter pitching. I don't think I've ever experienced the stutter when I was pitching anyway, it always happens when I'm at bat and usually when I already have 2 strikes on me which inevitably leads to a strikeout killing any chance for a rally. In fact the stutter is so bad for me that I've had to completely stop playing MLB 13 and now I'm just waiting in desperate hope for a patch (btw, NONE of my other 30+ PS3 games have any sign of this type of problem, yet I keep reading speculation that the issue is not with the game, this makes absolutely no sense to me).

Thankfully I have yet to experience a single stutter...I mean I get the slight hiccup between innings and whatnot, but, none while pitching.

Also, and I really don't feel like scrolling through 88 pages, but, the people with the stutter...Are you using a custom camera? Or default catcher? Because I am using the default catcher camera.

I use default catcher cam, w/ broadcast pitching & it's a mess.

Pulse pitcher here, haven't seen a single stutter. Very interesting.
