Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Any other RTTS pitcher go through a stretch where you have about three straight umps squeezing you? I was going insane last night. It got to the point where I couldn't even use the corners at all.
This morning I got a fairly generous ump, though. The strike zone felt massive after the past few gamesMariners Baseball | Lakers Basketball | Rams FootballComment

I get those a lot, seems like for me it's usually just a few innings at a time where you can't do anything besides throw it down the middle for a strike, and even that's iffy at times! It really makes you frustrated and sometimes make's me not even want to play! Then again I have a lot of times where I can throw pretty much anywhere and get a guy out so it all evens out!Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Generic #102 (Tom Seaver). I use the meter pitching and Seaver's delivery is rhythmic and consistent in the windup and from the stretch that allows me to easily "get into the zone" when pitching. I vary my button presses to help change speed and get some different movement on the pitch.
I've completed my second season in the Marlins organization. I rose from AA to a September call up in my first season. I dominated in my second (rookie) season, going 20-3 with a 0.90 ERA with 410 strikeouts. Pitched a perfect game against the Phillies and won Rookie of the Year, Cy Young, and MVP. Completed spring training in year 3 and was the opening day starter and pitched a 1-hit shutout with 16 Ks. I'm shooting for Cy Young's 511, which is a serious challenge considering I'm playing on a team where scoring 3 runs represents an offensive explosion.
I haven't played since the Official opening day rosters came out and now that the OSFM is out, I probably won't pick up this RTTS until this weekend.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
With OSFM out, I'm sure lots of people are playing this now.
How has RTTS been like? Do teams still make stupid trades(like trading their best players for prospects, despite being in playoff contention. Or trading top guys for C potential players). Does your own RTTS guy get traded often, or are you basically on same team for along time.Comment

Created a 6'4 228 pound shortstop, went more towards Arm, power, and speed. Drafted by the twins, started at double a. Using OSFM, Buxton is batting 1, me at 2, and its double city. we probably combined for 6 doubles in the first 4 games. I cant wait to get to the bigs with these players.Comment

Is there any way to see the distance of your home runs? Or am I missing it somewhere?#WeAreUKComment

Perry Oliver
6'5
218 pounds
The top pitching prospect is a well rounded pitcher that features a 4SFB and a Knucklecurve, with a developing splitter that could end up being his make or break pitch that decides whether or not he will make it to the show. Perry is an inning eating hog that keeps the hitters confused by painting all the corners of the plate. The Rangers have drafted him and assigned him to the Texas RoughRiders as the 5th starter in the rotation.

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
So, I'm no pro at this game. I'm a casual baseball fan. Is there a reason why I'm still in AA and I'm WORLDS better than my AAA counterpart? He's a 51 ovl and I'm a 70...Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment
