Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I am almost 100% sure that maxing out speed ratings on offspeed (i.e. changeup) pitches actually increases the variance between the fastball and offspeed...as in it actually slows the pitch down.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I know this has been talked about but how do you get your pitcher removed earlier? I have a SP and my second start i was in the 7th with 121 pitches and only gave up 3 hits and 1 run.. Than they even put me out for the 8th.. I threw another 25 pitches.. had something like 150 in the 8thComment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I asked this in the Q & A post, but never got an answer.
Where can I see the team's transactions in road to the show? There were some trades made in my rtts and I want to see the exact details, but I cannot find it anywhere.
Thank you.Comment

That's something in future MLB games I hope they have, more player-coach interaction DURING games.
So between innings, if your coach is thinking of pulling you, you can either accept it, or argue that decision and see if he lets you stay in. Or if you feel like you want to be done after an inning, you can let your coach know that and he can pull you.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Not even the best pitchers in MLB today have numbers like that..
Doing what the goals want you to do would result in a starter having an ERA under 2.00, and a WHIP under 1.000.....Unless you're playing on a mode too easy and/or have sliders in your favor, you SHOULDN'T be getting those types of numbers.Comment

Don't know if there's anything you can do to get your guy out.

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Wondering if anyone has had something similar happen...
My 18-year-old AA SP just got called up to AAA after 3 starts (first advancement period). I've been playing the show since 09 and never had a RTTS player get called up to AAA during my first season, let alone the first advancement period. My stats after 3 starts: (Rockies organization, AA Tulsa Drillers):
3 GS, 2-0, 3.80 ERA, 21.1 IP, 19 H, 3 HR, 3 BB, 22 SO
They're good, but nothing to be blown away by for sure. I'm also playing on Hall of Fame difficulty. This normal in 13? Happen to anyone else?Comment

Just created a 6'3" 220 lbs RF named Quincy Upshaw. He was drafted by the Twins and will play for the New Britain Rock Cats. They have me batting 7/8 in the lineup. I hope to move up to 5/6 soon. Here are my goals that i have in min d for my first season:
.280 BA
10 2B
2 3B
15 HR
50 RBI
10 SBComment
