I was hitting over .400 in AA. Got called up in within second week of season. Was immediately on bench. Hitting over .300. Rated 15 OVR higher than any starter in outfield and its the Cubs. they're terrible. half if the team is on a cold streak. Never would happen in a million years.

Some people may need a baseball reality check. Top 50 prospects never are benched. Period. It's bad logic regardless, but since we're nitpicking...

There are a lot of nit picking people. It gets a little tiring when you bring up realism and the rebut it. It's like people forgot what real life is about. No top 50 prospect ever rides a bench. Never. I don't care about video hand logic. It shouldn't happen.BOBTRAIN

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Has anyone NOT been traded after getting called up to AAA?
In my first RTTS, I was called up to AAA then I got traded the next day my goals show up, and kept freezing so I had to start over.
I started another RTTS, and I got called up to AAA after the playoffs of my first year, then a couple of days after that I got traded again.
Does anyone ever get called up by the team that drafted themComment

The second guy I get drafted by the Astros and was excited since I kind of like the Astros and I also got traded to in AA to the Reds this time.Comment

In Year 1, I played in AA until a week before the ASG, they called me up to AAA, and then I got sent back down to AA about 2 weeks after the ASG. Bastards cost me the 300 ASG points or whatever it is!
I am in June of Year 2, have spent the whole season in AAA with the Braves.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
I am destroying it right now in AA, I got this message that there is room to move me up, which is fine but my team is pretty terrible. I can help us get a lead but our pitching is embarrassing. Oh well, I am in the Royals organization so I don't know if things will get better if I make to to the Majors. However, I have already gotten the top 50 prospect badge.Comment

I have just wrapped up my first season as a closer. Played the first whole year at the AA level. I led the league in saves and was really surprised I never got a promotion.

0-1
45 innings
39 hits
8 earned runs
1.60 ERA
45 saves
4 blown savesMinnesota Wild

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Just got called up to AAA (not starting) on June 21st. Played in 58 AA games for the Altoona Curve. Was batting .410 with 17 HR's and 75 RBI's (leading the AA in all three categories). Does it get harder as you move up? I don't want it to be as easy as AA in AAA. My overall is a 62 right now and I don't really want to bat around .400 in AAA and in the MLB. Should I make the move from All Star to Hall of Fame? Or does it get harder as you move up?Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread
Its good to know you can stay with the same team in RTTS because it seems last year in 2012 I would always get traded too. Maybe I should stop letting a team draft me and just look for a team that has a need at what position I pickComment

My guy (see link in signature) is in AA but is almost the highest rated in CF already. It would be ridiculous if he ever gets traded considering the Rays top CF is rated like a 77 or 79.Comment
