To me, not really unless you are somehow contending for a spot at the ASB and they're out of it. The A's just acquired Young and wouldn't trade him before the season starts. I think you're stuck with Maxwell in center at this point.

i wont be contending....i dont think of Maxwell as a starter...and CY is one of my favorite players + Oakland has 97 outfielders.....but yeah thats what i figured....time for plan B...*sigh*

Torres just signed with SF so he won't be moved. Davis could be an option but he'd probably cost too much (around 2 mil $ / year )

How about getting Roger Bernadina from the Nats?

no to Rajai and definite no to Torres...i'd just find somebody else or stay with an in-house young scrub till Springer's ready

Just is in a cruddy situation and you could use him as a CF. not saying he's good, but he's serviceable.
