My 2 cents to add to Totte's response--I think that instead of Hughes, do Adams and Montgomery. I'd think that Miami would want them. Heck, maybe still do Hughes since you've gotta overpay for him at this point.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I know that I have posted a lot without any responses lol. I have done some research on my question, and I have found a good amount good players that are pretty easy to get. A-Rod (who I think is pretty overrated against RHP), R.A Dickey, Ichiro, Torii Hunter, almost any great reliever, David Ortiz, Chase Utley, Hanley Ramierez, and I think thats about it. I will continue to experiment and update you more.I would write more but then i took an arrow to the kneeComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Before I pull the trigger I have to ask--who do you thin the Dodgers would take from COL for Capuano and how realistic would it be since it is intradivision? I was initially thinking Herrera but maybe I'd have to pay a vig so to speak and upgrade to a Trevor Story? Or would they just say no period b/c of division? Or would a different player do the trick?Comment

A 4 for 10 player swap? Must be some sort of new record
Scale it down with only Stanton and Nolasco heading to the Yankees. Have Sanchez, Bichette, Williams, Pineda, Banuelos and Hughes head to Florida. Far from perfect but the Yankees lack those extreme high upside gems to dangle in tradesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In mid May of my Nationals Franchise... have played 1 game from every series. Couldn't get anyone out with Drew Storen, and I can't stand Ross Dettwiler's motion, so I dealt them both to the Yankees for Phil Hughes.
Hughes was 4-2 with a 4.88 ERA. I've always pitched well with him, though.Comment

Also, I like the idea about playing one game per series. I've been playing out all of Stephen Strasburg's starts which helps keep a good pace, but it means not getting to make a go of it with any of the other starters.Miami Dolphins | Washington Nationals | Baltimore OriolesComment

With 30 team control, I can do 1 for 3 trades separately, that I can go in and manually accept. It would eventually add up.[CENTER]Follow me on Twitter

But I am running the Rockies so the question posed is strictly on LAD side of it. Sorry I wasn't clear on that.Last edited by rjackson; 03-08-2013, 11:30 AM.Comment
