Took 3 hours.

Then I get this message. What the heck?

You need to download two files.

10.3gb and 11.4gb, the entire game should be around 22gb+ when installed.

Seems you get this error when you only install one of the files.

I d/l'd the 'main game,' installed it, and it says it's not complete.

There's another file labeled 'additional content' and it's 11 gigs too?

I actually got scared for a second when I saw your post as I'm still downloading was looking around for info and then I saw his post and was relieved. I was going to ask my friend who said he was almost done downloading to check on this.

This crap is confusing as its not standard, the install space required, the download size, everything. Sony should be conveying this info to their consumers, not their consumers to each other.

Kind of negated the purpose of downloading at midnight so I could play all night and not have to wait until 10:00 am to go to GameStop by having to download 3 different 10+ GB downloads. I started at 11:57 and just finished the first one. So it took about 3 hours to complete and now I find out I have to wait another 685 minutes before the other two are done...

The extra download time is worth it in the end (less wear & tear on your bluray drive, plus games will load faster and probably run smoother as well).

thats true but I am just frustrated in the fact that I will not be able to play until 3 pm tomorrow. Of course the download may speed up but so far through 10% is going at about the pace it said it would.

maybe I am missing something? When I loaded it up after the game downloaded and installed initially I go the message saying that the install was not completed. So I went back the PS store and went over to The Show and hit download. It brought up a download that has 2 things going. So far one is at 22% and the other 5%. Saying it will take 555 minutes to complete.

I am a PS3 noob. I have owned one for about 5 years and only play it on occasion. Never know what I am doing so I usually just turn it off and go back to XBOX. lol. If you could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

You only need to download two files.

Additional content

Which one do you have installed right now? Maybe you can check the size of the game, triangle-->information. The file sizes are close, but maybe you can tell the difference.

If you figure out which one you already installed, download and install the other. Hopefully you wont need to download both files again, just the one you don't have already installed.

Okay I downloaded the first one and that installed. Now I am downloading the extra content one. However I just realized something. It says that I am downloading 1/3 things. I am just wondering if that is why it says it is going to take 500+ minutes. If so, I shouldn't be too far off I dont think. Right now it is at 37% on the top one and 8% on the bottom one. Does any of this make sense to you?

ya this is really poor in my opinion. I mean they made it sound like this was going to be a really good option and would only take an hour or two and then you would be off and playing. If that were the case I'd be thrilled with my decision, but if things keep going the way they are going I am going to be really pissed off. I got this off of here so I wouldn't have to wait till 10 am to get the game. Now it looks like not only will I not have it by then but I wont even have it by 3 pm!

In your downloads I'd cancel the 'first one' which I assume you mean main game and any others you don't need. And just let the additional content one download if that is the one you need.
