Not exactly sure. I new I was going to lose a lot so I just wanted to get through this season to get to the off-season. I did play 1 Sim 5 for the first two months, then simmed all of June played about two game in July and then kinda just played the games I wanted for the rest of the season. I upgraded my team fairly good so I may stick to play 1 Sim 5 the whole next season.

How's this for an Opening Day performance?

      Adam Lind 4 for 5, 3 HR, 4 RBI

The third HR was a 10th inning walk-off shot as the Blue Jays rallied from a 6-3 deficit to defeat the Indians 7-6.

Playing on All-Star across the board with all Analog controls. Toronto's lineup in this game is nasty!

Hot damn! What were the distances?

I jacked a 442 foot shot with Cespedes yesterda that sizzled out of the park and smacked the luxury boxes.

Honestly, I don't remember excact distances because I played that game over the course of 3 days (work has been keeping me very busy). I know 2 were over 400 feet, though.

That's a bomb you hit with Cespedes. Are you doing a franchise with every team?

No, just setting it up. After the setup you can do whichever team or teams you like with everything else set up perfect for other teams.

The bomb with Cespedes was in exhibition.

I would recommend giving Appel another year to develop in the minors. Having him face weaker competition will increase the chances of him going on a hot streak which will boost his ratings a bit more.

                  Kmoser...

Were Blanks and Mikolas traded for or signed as free agents? I haven't pitched with Mikolas in my franchise but he has pitched very well in the minors.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. He's already a 76 OVR but I might send him to AA for a few starts and see how he does. If does well i'll promote him to AAA.

I traded Bud Norris and got those 2 in return. I just pitched with him in my first game of year two. He came in in a non-save situation in the 9th and got 3 quick outs. I look forward to seeing how he does in the Closer role at such a young age.

Keep me posted... I am not going to resign Street after my 2014 season so I will be weighing my options for 2015. Mikolas is closing in AAA this year.

Alright will do. Yeah I didn't resign Veras because Mikolas was already an 80 at the end of 2013.

Just had a good game against the cubs earlier. Its the bottom of the 9th at wrigley and I'm winning 6-4. I bring in my close Mikolas. Brad Hawpe pich hits for their pitch and gets a single. Then Darwin Barney singles. With 2 on and no outs up comes Starlin Castro who bunts to move the runners in scoring position. I proceed to strike out Rizzo then Jorge Soler comes up to the plate. It gets to a 2-2 count then he hits a single to left so Barney scores and they are sending Castro home. Chris Carter fields it and makes a beautiful throw to home to get Castro out and to win the game! I thought Castro was safe but I watched the replay and my catcher got him just barely before he touched home.
So after this win my Astros start off 2-0. Parra has been killing it batting .600 and Altuve is batting .625. I am going to play game 3 in this Cubs series then I am going to begin playing 1 and simming 5.

Decided to start about two, three weeks ago a franchise with the Rays. They're the chosen ones. Rays are the ones that im going to stick in franchise until TS14 comes out.

They are a fantastic young and exciting team. Their rotation is good and in offense is very fun to play with Longo and Zobrist. The others in the lineup is challenging, as they can get you very good games and then bad ones and so on..

I like their unis, i like their gamestyle and I like Joe Maddon. Only thing, however, is Tropicana Field. No offense for the Rays fans here, but I dont like at all TF. So to not waste the opportunity of playing with the rays, their home stadium is the old Marlins park. SunLife. i think. Its an awesome stadium, built for the Rays because they have a lot of contact hitters and putting the ball intovthe deepest part of the stadium can get easy doubles and triples. Its fantastic.

Anyways, to have more challenge and fun, I decided to simulate COMPLETELY the first half of the season. By the ASG, my team was at 42-55. I was dead last in the division, 18 games out of the first-place Blue Jays. So then I accepted the challenge: to play all the games remaining and make the historic comback and win the division.

I called up phenom prospect Wil Myers and boy he is a phenom. I've played so far 19 games. I've won 13 and lost 6. Rays are now tied in the 4th place with the Yankees at 55-61. Im 14 games out of the Blue Jays. Its going to be so much fun.

By the way, Wil Myers in 19 games is hitting .480 AVG, 13 HR (already 4th in the team) and 22 RBI's. Rays offense is leaded by Ben Zobrist with a .323 18 HR and 72 RBI's, followed by Longo with .304 19 HR and 55 RBI's.
Pitching is commanded by David Price, who is currently the leader in wins, with 14-5 and a 2.65 ERA.
                            New York Yankees
                            Green Bay Packers
                            San Antonio Spurs

After making it to a dominant record at the ASB, I simmed through the 2nd half and wound up 103-59, with a 1st round bye.

                              Notables included:

                              Cespedes .262, 23 HR, 82 RBI
                              Lowrie: .274, 22 HR, 71 RBI
                              Moss: .298, 34 HR, 92 RBI

                              Milone: 19-5, 3.19 ERA
                              Anderson: 16-8, 3.38 ERA
                              Parker: 16-7, 3.63 ERA

I'm just starting my very first real franchise this year, did a fantasy draft using the SCEA rosters from the 16th as The Royals. Had a great draft and I really really like the new scouting set up, I haven't decided how many games or what sets I'm going to play yet but I did win my opening day game in Chicago so I'm off to a good start
