i think there is a problem with your system, i havent heard of any of these problems

My system is only a year old. Its my second ps3, my last one lasted me from the PS3 release date to last year when it suffered the rrod.

Every other game plays on my system fine.

But alot of people bought this game at this store, Im trying to find out if they are having the same problem. It doesnt look pirated...it does have the ps3 logo and all.

That's weird and may just be a defective copy of the game, so they may not patch it (who knows). You can take your opened copy of the game to Walmart....not to return without a receipt.....but, to exchange for another copy of the game. Just tell them it doesn't work properly and that you want to exchange it for the exact same title. They will assume you got it at Walmart.

I have heard of the blank fantasy draft screen....other people are suffering that problem...but i havent heard of the invisible player problem from anyone yet...which is why Im wondering about a patch.

That's weird a may just be a defective copy of the game, so they may not patch it (who knows). Just curious, but there was a small pre-release patch that everyone should have been forced to install when you first installed the game. Is it possible you avoided that? The only reason I ask is because I have seen a couple invisible players on double switches but not to the extent you are talking about.

No I installed that patch. This isnt on double switches...this is on defensive substitutions and injury substitutions. Its annoying and bothers the hell out of me that Im hitting the ball to invisible people. Its especially bothersome in spring training games when the computer switches 6,7 people.
