We do get a discount...Only 10 percent...so basically it takes off our tax. I bought it in NYC because I was off the weekend before the release day of the game, and on this forum, I was told that J & L had the game for sale. I was reading about everyone else buying their game early and I was jealous..lol. Alot of people from this board got their game from there. I had the whole weekend off, so I took a trip up to NYC to get the game. If the problem is my game, then I wont be visiting that store anymore.

Re: I Hate To Keep Talking About This
If I may, I have a couple suggestions that are worth a shot at least.
1. Restore the File System - which will restore any corrupt system files
and
2. Rebuild the database - Which is essentially like defragging the hard drive.
Take it or leave it, neither should harm your PS3 as they are features of the system and the guides will tell you how to go about this.Comment

Re: I Hate To Keep Talking About This
Seriously you think I would lie about taking the Septa bus down to south philly walmart, exchange the game, and then take the septa bus back to my house in Fishtown, which by bus, is not a far ride. I would gladly take a picture of the receipt if you dont believe me.Comment

Re: I Hate To Keep Talking About This
every video game has bugs as soon as it comes out. do not be rash and waste another 60 bucks on 2k13.that game is garbage and how it even still has a fan base is beyond me.
patience goes a long way.(baseball pun
) i still do not have the game. for two reasons: because i am still enjoying my first season in mlb 12 and am now in the postseason and secondly because the OSFM rosters are not out yet.
i anticipated situations such as these where if i have the game i simply will get impatient and end up starting multiple seasons without the best rosters out there and the game will be riddled with bugs because that's just the way these things go in the early stages.Comment

Re: I Hate To Keep Talking About This
Exactly. If people don't buy his story, then just ignore it and move on (play the game instead).....otherwise post something if you think or want to try to help him. I'm not looking at the bus schedule to see if he really could've made it to Walmart. I don't think he's gaining anything by lying and if so, it's not costing anybody here anything.Comment
