First of all, posts like this have 0 purpose around here and will probably find you on everyone's bad side...and possibly banned. Typical Overreaction Sports at its finest here. Some things need to be tweaked at release and people are up in arms with the pitchforks...hell the Dev team acknowledged the problems you are most likely referring to (the ST progression being a big one.)

Secondly, most if not all sports games have issues with trade logic. I certainly know the other baseball game has its huge issues with trade logic. And we all know about how you can abuse the CPU and build super teams in every other title out there if you wanted to.

Thirdly, that feature does in fact work perfectly fine. When you set up 30 team control there's an option for the profile you use for the other 29 teams that is "Drafting" that you can set to auto.

Since I'm not allowed to post my own thread, why did they get rid of the trade meter in Franchise? Remember the blue bar that that rated each trade proposal? Gone.

Now all you get is like 4-5 different vague responses and that's it. Makes trading much more difficult. Can this be turned back on? Why in the world would they get rid of that?

How do you manage the lineups, rotations, ect., when using 30 team control? Also, wouldn't the offseason be quite a hassle?

          Re: Trade Logic?

After my 7th season playing RTTS as a Pirates SS, I was finally able to make it to the All star break with an above .500 team record. That being said, 2 weeks before the All Star break, they traded a SP (overall 85), a RP (overall 79) and a closing pitcher (overall 78) to the Phillies for 4 position player prospects that I didn't need, all of which were below 50 overall...Needless to say, I have a very limited pitching staff now and the prospects I received were placed on the AA team. Despite being over .500, I have lost my last 8 out of 9 games because of this ridiculous trade. Is anyone else seeing any problems like this?

Not at all. You set everything to auto but you can monitor trades pretty easily (or reverse them if you miss one). The only hassle last year was the draft, and i'm not sure if it is the same this season. Using 30 team control adds very little work, and is 100% worth it.

You can set the 29 other teams to Auto draft.

the only unthinkable trade in MLB is Jeter to the Redsox(LOL)...after that...anything is possible.

                  IMO
Jeter to the Padres is realistic? Keep dreaming. The show has failed to fix the trade logic ever year. It's ridiculous.

I think the logic is vastly improved this year.
