The Vita has many of the same issues that the PS 3 Version has. For example K rates in franchise mode are low, the spring training regression, first pitch meatball and many more. Additionally to that it has some of it's own, like vita specific crashes and freezes.

But I think there is hope guys, that's a vita specific Bug Report and a dev comments how this will be fixed in the next update/patch:

So I guess that probably means we'll get a patch, unless the changed their plans..

I'd be willing to bet it will be at least a week or two before we see a Vita patch. They probably didn;t even start working on it until they were done with the PS3 update.

It'd gladly wait a week or even two if we get an comprehensive update fixing all or most of the issues. I could also imagine that they release another/final PS 3 patch before the Vita patch will drop, which will then contain all of the necessary fixes. But it for sure would be great to get an official statement from SCEA on this, the waiting time could be so much more fun...

If you read into some of Russell's posts, he mentioned that they were on a tight timeline this year to release a patch. Also when ask about second patch he said not to bet on it, like this was the final patch for the ps3. I am just guessing that have big plans for the PS4 version and need everyone to start on 14. Since fortunately many areas of the vita are tied with the ps3 version, this might be a relatively quick fix. That said geister I really think that if we do not get a patch sometime within the next couple weeks, we won't get one at all(again).

The lack of response in regards to a Vita patch is concerning. I'd have to believe if a Vita patch was on the slate, we would have heard something from SCEA at this point telling us to sit tight. This really sucks when you shell out money for a a system and a game developed by the same company and you don't any support for it. Should have learned my lesson with the PSP, got suckered into buying a Vita and am regretting it

Has anyone tested cloud saves now between PS3 and vita since the ps3 got the update and not the vita? Is it corrupted?

yea i go back and forth from ps3 to vita with my rtts and franchise... no problem at all.... only thing is pitches seem to get to the plate a bit slower on vita than ps3

Some people do get a kick out of bashing a game and developers in internet forums. Not releasing a Vita patch sort of provided those people with such entertainment opportunity. SCEA is after all in entertainment industry, are they not.

Uhhh, I'm waiting for the patch too... I just didn't have a panic attack. I mentioned that Vita support wasn't going to be an issue, back in January; right after I said '13 was improved over '12.

LOL, I know don't look trustworthy but come on... #TrustMe
