Re: Patch Support for the Vita Version of MLB 13: The Show?
Wow.. You are funny, buddy. He didn't give "me" his word. He went on a public forum and stated that there would be a patch in 2 days. That was 4 days ago and then no response. I think it's within reason to ask on the very same thread: "Hey about that patch you promised...?" There are no pitchforks, no one is selling the game- and there has been no name calling.
I think we're all in agreement that we love the show, but if you feel he needs you to stand up for and protect him from these "unreasonable requests", that's your decision and I support it fully.Comment

Moving on. You don't get it.
Going back to enjoy the game now. I'll leave you here to complain about what you think was a "promise" or "word" when the game still plays fine.
Have fun!Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

It plays fine for you? Awesome! Really really happy. Actually, if it played fine for me, I would probably not understand what people are complaining about either...So in that regard, I'm envious.
Let me again repeat: It doesn't play fine for me (and other people)- because there's a first pitch fastball bug that you may or may not have heard about. If you don't fast forward like I do- it probably plays perfectly.. So more power to you. In any case, they themselves have created a patch- so that would lead me to believe they also think that it doesn't "play fine".Comment

Re: Patch Support for the Vita Version of MLB 13: The Show?
You're trying to paint a picture that is far from the truth. Is "you feel entitled" a catch phrase some use to try and shut a discussion down? I read it alot in certain forums here. Don't recall reading it in the quite long stuttering thread although I confess I didn't read that whole thread. Maybe you were on vacation then? The guy wondering why 2 days didn't really mean 2 days asked a legit question. Trying to frame that question as some guy acting as a whiny entitled baby is bush league. Would it be safe to assume you really killed those guys in the stuttering thread? It dwarfs this oneLast edited by blueduke; 03-31-2013, 09:59 PM.Comment

No, it is the comments of "he gave us his word".
Arguing over "two days", what it meant, on a holiday weekend of all things, then claiming they should or do have 24/7 support is not a "discussion". It is complaining about trivial things.
I can't care less about that other thread. It has no bearing about what is going on in this one.
And I will say again. The game still plays fine. Do not take it out of context. Did I say "end all", not needing some issues fixed? For now, it plays so well all around, that I am not going to complain about what "2 days" meant, or wether or not Ramone "made a promise".
Good grief. Patience is a virtue.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 03-31-2013, 10:12 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Patch Support for the Vita Version of MLB 13: The Show?
I for one don't have a problem with the Vita version. Play it much more than console version as I did last year. It has it's moments. It's not perfect. Nothing is. If they didn't patch it at all I wouldn't feel cheated. However if someone tells me "I'll be there in 2 days" I'll take that as 2 days. The guy didn't post thru tears blabbering about returning the game. He asked a legit question. That's it. Not some bile spewing entitled baby you tried to make him out to be. Btw, if Ramone meant 2 business days shouldn't he had said so? Words mean things. Especially in businessNo, it is the comments of "he gave us his word".

Both threads have dissatisfied customers discussing their misgivings and waiting for a patch. What's the difference? Enlighten usI can't care less about that other thread. It has no bearing about what is going on in this one.Last edited by blueduke; 03-31-2013, 11:11 PM.Comment

Re: Patch Support for the Vita Version of MLB 13: The Show?
This is turning into an ego thing and it really shouldn't. If we come here tomorrow and Ramone says, "Sorry guys, we had a bit of a delay and the patch will be up in a month- we're just trying to get it right".. I'd be fine with that. If he said they cancelled the patch altogether, I think we'd all be A-OK.
Heck, I only started following this thread once I saw the "two days" comment.
Anyway this attempt at censorship is really silly and giving lessons on patience via insults on the internet is not really time well spent, in my opinion... Especially within a thread about a patch that is supposedly not needed.Comment

Re: Patch Support for the Vita Version of MLB 13: The Show?
Well, we don't know what specifically the patch is going to address (no Vita fix list like the PS3 had, to this point), so I don't think anyone but the devs can answer that with 100% certainty. But based on the PS3 patch it's likely to contain a fix to franchise strikeout stats, so would you really want to continue a franchise where you know the stats were messed up in the beginning because of a balancing issue?
If you really start tonight it's not going to be much of an issue anyway as you won't be very deep into the season, and I think I recall H&V saying the new logic took hold in an in-progress franchise he was testing (for the PS3 version)Last edited by bcruise; 04-01-2013, 01:04 AM.Comment

Re: Patch Support for the Vita Version of MLB 13: The Show?
Thank You, I will hold off for one more day then. I dont really worry about progression because I only play one season a year. The K rate for simulation purposes would be my concern at this point. I havent even played a game yet on either console because I have been doing my rosters, pitch/equip edits. So I am itching to play, especially since the season started tonight.Comment

There were like 2 guys commenting then you show up, try to mock them (for a questionable reason) and obviously a (unnecessary) discussion breaks loose. What's so bad about expressing your impatience here in a post or two anyways?
Nobody attacked Ramone personally and once the patch is out everybody will be happy and the slight delay forgotten.Spending time with Jesus!

Re: Patch Support for the Vita Version of MLB 13: The Show?
Please, the bickering appeared to be settled last night - no need in people coming in at this point fanning the flames. This has been a good thread for us Vita guys and I'd hate to see it closed.
To the one asking about starting his franchise, the patch will more than likely work on an existing franchise but, as bcruise said, if it doesn't hopefully you'll only have a day or two at the most to do over if you had to.
Disclaimer: I'm only speculating the patch will work on existing franchises. If it doesn't, I am not to be held responsible for your time lost!
