hitting differculty?

I am using all star zone i have never been that good at hitting in this games but this year on all star with the slower pitch speed and with the wider time windows i am getting prety good reasults. I would like to do zone plus analog but i chase way more pitches on analog hitting becuase i focus so much on the stride timing that i cant consatate on picking up pitches.

i usually stay on vet but since im trying to get into the os leagues i been playing on all star not too bad.

I am in between HOF and Legend. Have not found a home yet.

I'm using all-star with button hitting, and I'm getting more hits than I used to do on Veteran in '12, and averaging 4-5 runs per game which I'm happy with.

currently on hof with analog hitting and debating on bumping it up a level or adjusting the sliders a touch.

I'm not sure what hitting differculty I use, but in MLB 13 I use Legend Difficulty...

Sounds good. I have been trying to find a way to get more walks. Did you change the sliders a lot or just the pitch speed?

I must be the only person experiencing this. I'm playing on AS default hitting sliders. I have been playing MLB 12 the Show up to my purchase of 13 so I wouldn't consider myself rusty. I just can't hit in this game. I have hit so many weak choppers and pop ups on fastballs right down the middle. I'm gonna take a break from the game for a few days because from my experience so far this is not putting out a good game of baseball for me. It's boring. I can't hit the ball. Last year my sliders were tuned so I wouldn't rake. This year the sliders are more in my favor and I just can't hit.

It helps. It makes the first pitch meatball bug on all diffuculties and I hate that bug.

Only other sliders I changed were arm strength (minus 2) and baserunner speed up 1.

I hit on all-star mode I guess. But I have altered sliders. Does that not negate the diffeculty level? I dunno. Damned confusing settings these day's! Makes an old man wanna bust out the 2600 and just play.

Most the time when rounding third the baserunner goes into a slow motion animation. There is a thread about it. By design or a bug, I don't like it and this helps.
