Playing with timing hitting also negates any type of advantage I may have because player ratings determine the outcome aka the PCI doesn't always go where the ball is.
agreed, there is no give away to know where the pitches are going to end up. I'm loving hitting this way

I fast-forward sim. I played shortstop, second base, and third base at a Division 2 College and I started for 3 years and batted second in the lineup. To be honest with you, I hit over .300 every year; but I never liked hitting because I could not be perfect.

Fielding, I once made only 1 error during an entire season. I really do not like batting. I prefer defense

I've never hit in broadcast, I was just responding to the person who said "You can see how the catcher sets up", which, to me, seems unrealistic.

Havent played 13 yet, but this is how I played in 12 and I feel like it adds a ton to the game. Especially since there are diff broadcast cams in each stadium. I love that I hit better in some parks and worse in others.

Yeah, I can see how you thought that. The nice thing about broadcast view is that the catcher only moves when you're pitching, not when you're hitting.

I just found it refreshing way to play and look at the game, to be able to see the catcher, pitcher and hitter like a TV broadcast is really cool. The catcher moves once and a while but does not give away any pitch location.

(New to the show series) One of my favorite things about this game is the little things they have added. I started my franchise with the mets, and their first couple of series are at home so i could comfortable with the broadcast cam at CITI, then the mets had to play a series in Minnesota and the broadcast cam is completly different angle and view. It took me a couple of innings to get adjusted to the mound and feel.

I thought that was cool bc as a visting pitcher especially playing in a non rivals park, you shouldnt be comfortable on the mound right away. However when Santanna takes the mound at citi, i already know its gonna be a long night for my oppenent bc i have that familarity with the mound at broadcast at citi.

sorry for rambling but there are so many little things that blow my mind with this game. Best sports game out, and this is coming for a hard core fifa player

I have been playing this way for years! Love it! Although it makes hitting sorta difficult but I like playing the game like I am watching a real baseball game on TV. I really enjoy it this way. Great thread by the way! Nice to know there are others out there! Later

I use this as well, funny thing is my first at bat hitting on the broadcast cam I homered, lol. However, it all went south from their and been struggling, I still love hitting on this cam however my games take much longer to finish because I am more inclined to watch all the batting cut-scenes.
