They used to have pictures of the strike zone and how each pitch breaks in the strategy section. They stopped doing that last year and I took screen caps of the old 2011 guide.

They are still on my ps3.

I need the baserunning controls seared into my mind,
I all too often manage to screw up my runners by getting them
thrown out for various reasons.

With pure analog batting, to influence a fly ball or ground ball you hold R2 and push right stick up or down pre pitch, the controller vibrates to tell you you have done this, but if you want to influence the hit left or right (with R2 and right stick left or right) you don't get any controller vibration. Does this influence still work? Or is it just fly and ground ball influence with pure analog hitting?

I'm not sure it works like that. Last year it would vibrate prepitch, now nothing. And if you try it while you are swinging, well, goodluck hitting that outside fastball if u try to swing to the left!
May be missing...

Thats for if the ball is pitched inside or outside the plate.
If you look at the game controls (Curahee has kindly posted them on this thread) It says hitting influence (pre pitch) hold R2 and push left stick up, down, left or right. Only up and down are confirmed with the controller vibration (pure analog hitting), though it does say all batting. I'd just like to know if the left and right actually have an effect with pure analog hitting.
