Has anyone figured out how to play with two humans in manage only mode? I understand there may be limitations when playing on the same screen but surely there should be an option to do so online?

It's a wish for sure.

One more question for M.K. Or if anyone else wants to chime in.Would you say on pitch strategy the location were guys will throw there offspeed stuff the most often?For me low seems best,but its hard to figure out the best for that.Just wanted to see if anybody has a opinion on that?Also i agree online Mom would be a dream

Honestly....the pitch is already selected I would say.....and choosing location really has no bearing on it.
That's what Cavichi was really alluding to...you could be picking a location(HIGH let's say) that the pitch the CPU is calling for is really not good for it(a change or curve).

Has anybody noticed a BB/9 problem in MoM?

For instance, create a guy w/ 99 BB/9 attributes and create a guy with 1 BB/9 in attributes. Now play a few MoM games and tell me if your guy w/ 99 BB/9 has more walks than the guy with 1.

I have a pitcher I created with 92 BB/9 and another with 24 BB/9 and the pitcher with 92 is averaging over 5 BB/9 in my franchise. The guy w/ 24 is averaging less than 3 BB/9.

This isn't on user teams only, anytime I face a pitcher with a great BB /9 attribute he walks guys like crazy. I know other factors play into how many guys a pitcher walks, but this 92 BB/9 guy has the best control attributes in the whole game.

My fear is that this stat is backwards and guys w/ low BB/9 attributes are walking less guys than guys w/ high BB/9 attributes. I haven't checked if it's a sim problem, as I "play" all my teams games.

I'm not complaining, just wondering if others can recreate my problem.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure whats going on really. My whole team strikes out almost 10 times per game. Holliday, Freese, even Craig can't hit anyone. I've tried resting them, benching them and re-arranging them in the lineup over and over. The computer can score no problem, so I guess maybe I'll try and edit the players settings. I know when I view my staff the hitting coach has an adverse affect on their ratings, so maybe that has something to do with it as well.

I'm seeing a pattern that disturbs me, players on my team frequently letting good pitches go and swinging at pitches out of the zone. At first I thought it was my players, but then I got Posey, and Posey supposedly has good vision, and he's doing the same thing! I've watched Adrian Gonzalez play first base and it's not that way in this game. It's like his reaction is not only slow, but also bad judgment. Meanwhile, CPU first baseman make dazzling plays regardless of their ratings, not always, but more often than Adrian. Actually, I haven't seen Adrian make one single dazzling play.

Okay, so my fielders were not performing up to par. Sooo, I gave up Kemp and got Trout. Well, if Trout played CF like that in real baseball, the fielding ratings given him should be greatly reduced!

I don't buy into the hitting coach thing. I know a good hitting coach can help, but a so-so hitting coach is going to turn Miguel Cabrera into Louie Cruz, or Posey into some mediocre hitting catcher?

Davy Lopes has so-so ratings, I forgot the numbers, but he looks like a mediocre guy for speed and/or base running!

All in all, I am disappointed with this mode. We need to be able to select pitch type, and our pitchers should be able to throw to first for a pickoff attempt on their own.

Does your team ever attempt to take out the lead runner when CPU bunts and you're in bunt defense?
