So far it's been pretty good. I'm right where the Twins are in real life and I've had one rain game in Baltimore. Last night happened to be the first rainy game for the Twins in real life. I've also had an overcast game. So far so good. It at least seems like it's done better than last year. Last year I went pretty much the entire 162 that I played without a rainy game.

Re: Rain Games In Franchise/Season Mode
I'm glad you said this. I noticed last night that my schedule (in franchise) is pretty messed up. Every Saturday home game I have (Cleveland) is scheduled for 4:05, whereas in real life, most of those games are scheduled at 7:05-7:15 range (with the occasional exception of a random 4:05 or 1:05 Saturday game). Road games have some odd times too. (For instance, a road Saturday game in Kansas City is scheduled for 6:05 ET, which would actually be 5:05 KC time.)
Good to know I'm not the only one who's seen this. Hopefully it does get noticed / patched.
I just looked at the Indians schedule on their webpage and the times appear to be right. Fox must of picked them for a lot of their Saturday afternoon TV games this yer (of course they pick 5-6 games each week to air in different areas of the country.)Comment

I've had 2 out of the first 9 games include rain! It's def not gone but I can't attest to the frequency as I've only played 9 games into my franchise!Comment

Re: Rain Games In Franchise/Season Mode
Definitely a mixed bag so far. This is a good thing because there should be a randomness to the type of weather we all experience.
I'd be interested to know if any if the CPU testers have tracked its frequency at all?
For now I'll guess I'll pose this question (though it is probably too premature for most of you to answer this). If the amount of rain games were doubled, would you guys appreciate that change? Or do you think they happen at a perfect ratio to sunny and overcast games? Or, like the poster above, are any of you just apathetic to the entire subject because they don't result in rainouts/double-headers?
I'd like to get a feel from the community here if any of you feel like sharing. Thanks for the responses so far.Comment

Re: Rain Games In Franchise/Season Mode
Another example is this Yankees series that is finishing up tonight. In real life, game 1 of this series was a day game, but then the other 3 games were scheduled for 7:05. In-game, game 1 was correct, game 2 was a 12:05, game 3 was a 4:05, and game 4 was a 7:05.
It's really not a HUGE issue that affects my enjoyment of the game or anything. There just seems to be a lot of random start times throughout my schedule.Comment

Re: Rain Games In Franchise/Season Mode
Thanks for the responses, everyone.
28 games into my Braves Franchise and I've had one overcast game, none as of yet with rain.
But I did see it rain in a short lived (two game) Yankees Franchise.
Hopefully as Summer creeps in, it'll be a little more wet in Hot-lanta. I'm happy to hear that some of you are seeing it quite a bit, meaning it seems to be working as it should be, it's frequency being very dependent on which ball park and time period you are playing in.Comment

First rain game of my Braves franchise (played about 10 games) came in May against the Reds at Great American BP.
It rained all the way through. Only rain game I have had. It was pretty cool.Comment

Re: Rain Games In Franchise/Season Mode
Was it a day or night game? I still have never got an answer on whether it rains during night games in franchise, or if it is only day games.Comment
