Is the wrist twist thing Dempster does just for deceiving hitters? Or does he have a twitching problem??

He said he does it as a means to hopefully prevent hitters from picking up his pitches.

That delivery is just annoying

im surprised about trouble with dempster, i have faced him twice and had my 2 biggest outputs in my franchise! Guess it all depends i have problems with any pitcher who has a good 12-6 and of course O'day is almost unhittable unless i get lucky

Agree with Dice K. He takes so long i find myself swinging at everything just to get the inning over with. Hope he doesn't make the Indians i hate facing him Also Valverde, when he came in against me game over

I'm looking for a delivery that appears to give some extra movement to the cutter specifically... That got me thinking about deliveries in general... Aside from side arm deliveries... What are some that give you fits...and why?

Nomo's deliery is tough as well has Dice K because they kind of stop before they start the dilvery to the plate it can throw off the batter.

when I was the red sox I hated throwing as Dice K so I would always sim his innings

For me in particular I can't hit Tim Hudson, Joe Nathan and Mitch Stetter...those 3 deliveries kill me....sometimes Nova's delivery gives me trouble.

I am surprised nobody mentioned Carter Capps. His delivery drives me crazy. He is also hard to pitch with so make sure if you face him, make your opponent put the ball over the plate. I have seen people try to use him and cant throw strike.

yep....no doubt, it's Carter Capps. for me, he's nearly impossible to hit!
