I downloaded the patch and then played 5 innings of a game and it works great. The meatball bug is gone, no stutter and even the rounder 3rd slow down was gone. I am very pleased! Just waiting for the osfm roster to start my franchise

I don't know why some people are still overreacting about the rating declines. They seem much better. If you think a guys ratings went down too much (Like Jeter and Papi) then just adjust their ratings a bit.

Plus the 70 and 60 power ratings that Papi ends up w/ will still equal about 20 HRS a year, and the 80 and 60 contact ratings Jeter ends up with still will produce about a .280 average

These players are far from useless after they regress. There is however a problem w/ how the computer sets lineups after the regression

That answers your question, OVR is still a huge factor.

How do you like that, it was not even addressed in the patch and it is fixed! A patch heals all!

because it can not correct the black uniform of the rockies? the sleeves are not purples, plus the batter's helmet is now purple not black.

I don't believe there is anything SCEA can do about jerseys. What's in the style guide is what's in the game.

The masses will never be satisfied. Some people bring up legitimate points, but I SMH at the tools who post questions that are answered in the first post and the people who want their team's shoelace color changed.....
To each their own, but SCEA is as good as it gets when it comes to community response.

I've noticed in the player edit screen, that the patch reset all batting stance follow throughs to the default.

Hey you never know! Lol but it does seem that it is gone. I have rounded third a few times and haven't had a problem.

I don't think it is gone, as I encountered the slowdown in my first game post patch. However, that was after a relatively late decision to try for home. It is possible that the timing window for the command to send the runner home was increased, so as to make for fewer slowdowns around third.

It is now my opinion that this was the problem. That we weren't given enough of a timing window to send the runner that extra base before it was too late and became a "late decision" resulting in the slowdown.....

You can edit the size and location of the Analog pitch meter. I do that ... yes it is a very minor annoyance to have to re-adjust for each specific park's Broadcast camera, but I still do it. I usually shrink the meter in half and then place it somewhere in the infield grass between the pitcher and home plate.

Interesting. I'll have to look into that. I've never noticed that option in the game anywhere before.

Not an ideal solution (I would still really like to see them fix this... I'm not generally one to throw out "this is something they should've caught before release", but it really is something really dumb that never should've made it in), but it's better than nothing.

Agreed, it caught me completely off-guard last night. I was expecting a patch to be announced somewhere in April. When I saw that the patch wasn't just announced, but coming out the next day AND fixing all of the major bugs I was amazed.
