Joey Votto's the most soft spoken superstar in sports probably. Hard to believe anyone could dislike him. I'm a Reds fan and I hate Dusty Baker. So I get that. As for OSFM, I helped with them and they are rated more than fairly you will see.

In a franchise I will probably only use Oakland. So my answer is the 31 other teams. In rtts it's whatever team i end up with.

If its franchise mode, then Im the Cubs and only the Cubs. But if there were teams I would absolutely never consider, its the Yankees, White Sox and Padres.

As it goes, I started my RTTS, and I was drafted to the Yankees, gonna try to force my way out of there, although there could be a chance I make the team in 2014 in LF, since they are not really strong in that spot

Now I would play with'em on a classic roster of their teams of the late
'70's & early '80's,(Loved Mike Schmidt & Steve Carlton)
but anything from 1993 on, not gonna touch'em.

I started hating'em since they interrupted the Braves World Series run of
91 to 96. If the Marlins hadn't come along, Atlanta would still be my team.

I think the only teams I WOULD play as are the Brewers, Nats and Halos... Brewers are my home team and I've lived very near (and dealt with) the other two organizations so they have a little place in my heart.

If I were to play as Anaheim though, it would only be as a fantasy draft. Not a big fan of most of their players even though I want them to do well.

I don't have the same reservation about the Nats. I worked at/attended multiple games a week for a couple years of bad baseball, so they're my guilty pleasure team to play with to enjoy the talent they got rewarded with for being so bad.

Die hard Yankees fan. But with that I have played with only one other team in a modern day franchise and that is The Marlins. I grew up here in South Florida. But I was born in New York and raised a Yankees fan. When The Marlins started playing I of course being a monster baseball fan started following my home town team and grew an affection for them.

I could not root for either team in the 2003 WS. Man that was rough. It really was. It is the only time in any sport I had such a quandary.

Anyway when it comes to classic rosters, I love playing with The Royals, The Dodgers, The A's. I love baseball, love the history, really love so many players and certain teams because of their roster.

But no Red Sox........ever!!!

I'm a die hard Tribe fan, so I pretty much shun the rest of the AL Central. That aside, in this series (The Show) I've always played with a team that was in rebuilding mode. From the Nats to the Astros to the Friars back to the Tribe. I have a test Franchise going now with Miami because they're so horrid, but once OSFM drops, this year I'm going to have to use my Tribe.

If I'm playing a game with a friend, we usually play with random teams just to keep it interesting. However, if I'm just playing a game outside of my franchise, I usually don't play with any team but the Pirates.

As a Yankees fan it was the Red Sox, that is until my RttS pitcher got traded to them last year and I became the staff ace. So now it's the Cubs because I find them pretty boring TBH.

Come to think of it...I've had at least 3 year franchises with every team (since 2010) except the: Royals, Pirates, Mets, Indians. Not sure why those teams haven't been used...interesting.
