from the looks of it there are only going to be a handful of games each week that have the right rosters. I wouldn't be surprised if no roster is right this week, with virtually every team having a rookie. Applauding SCEA for putting in this mode, but it stinks the amount of restrictions the MLBPA has. If the player was put in the for next game then I would be happy. Just stinks that we have to wait a week to get the right rosters, and until then we have to deal with these free agents. No thank you I will just wait for Knights rosters

Well, the simple solution to this would be daily roster updates but that's not happening...

Yeah it's not great, but hopefully after opening week the majority of rookies will be in there, and once we're in mid-season you don't have more than a handful of rookies called up per week so should be good to go by then!

This is only going to be a big issue in the first week. Once most of the rookies have played after week 1 we should be seeing accurate lineups for the most part. I love this new mlb live, nice to be able to see live stats and scores not to mention the ability to play the games whenever.

Are weather conditions also pulled from MLB.com? Box scores list the temperature and wind info...

IDK because when I fired up the BOS/NYY game on MLB Live, it was raining.

IRL the game was sunny & 60.

I'm with you, rather than playing random exhibition games, with 2012 stat overlays, it's cool to play along with the day's games with accurate stats etc. In future hopefully the commentary and presentation improves along with the mode.

Well, the simple solution to this would be daily roster updates but that's not happening...

The best solution would be for us to be able to use OSFM within MLB Live. Still, the mode is pretty solid and I'll be playing it a lot this year.

I'm surprised we aren't gonna be able to edit lineups ourselves. I don't mind playing with stats that aren't updated to the minute(but as long as they're from like the start of the day, it's fine), but at least let people use their own rosters. It's not like this is an online game where using our own lineups could mean having a team with all 99 guys.

True, but I logged it as soon as the game started at 1:05 and it was raining.
IDK if thats random or dynamic.

Wouldnt that only matter for the first game the rookies play in then the next game they play they should be added to the game since they are now in the MLB PA?

It will still be annoying moving forward. I just don't see the logic with taking FAs. At least take the fake minor leaguers.

They can't add them until they sign the waiver.

I just realized what The Show Live needs... a refresh button for scores/stats screen!

Hopefully they sort it out to use generic minor leaguers instead. That's the best we can hope for.

I agree.
I don't like the real players in there at all.(unless it was someone else that is on the 40 man but in AAA or something for that ballclub)
But IMO...generic player with similar ratings would be the BEST solution.
