So I find out today that Panasonic is going to discontinue their plasma line soon. Along with that goes the Kuro technology I guess. So I was considering picking up the most inexpensive 1080p 50" model soon. I think it is around 700 bucks now. I am currently playing games on an older 47" Vizio 60HZ and there is absolutely no input lag at all. Safe to assume there is no input lag on the Panasonic plasma model?

Nope. I play on a 42'' Panasonic Plasma now and there is no lag whatsoever with anything at all. Go pick one up! I got mine at Sears for just a little over $300

Never had an issue on my 58" Panny Plasma. A lot of MLB The Show and Rock Band gaming on it, both of which require good timing.
