Really enjoying this mode. I just don't think some people can get it through their heads that you need to have the most current roster loaded.Comment

Re: MLB 13: The Show Live Launches
THIS deserves a bump and highlight.
If you LOAD the current SCEA Roster Update before you play TSL, the F/As wont appear in your bullpen or your bench.
They may still not have Rookies or Prospects, but I noticed with the default roster Brian Wilson is in the Nats bullpen.
With the 4/22 roster, he is not.
It appears you must play with the SCEA roster of the week in which you are playing TSL.
So if you play a TSL game from 4/15-4/21 then you need to play with the 4/15 SCEA roster.
If I use the 4/22 roster and play a 4/21 TSL game, the rosters are inaccurate with F/As, but if I play today (4/22) with the 4/22 SCEA roster, they are correct and no F/As
Lastly, there is also a "Save Live Roster" command in the Data Utility screen--do we need to use that in conjunction with the roster updates? What does this do?Comment

Re: MLB 13: The Show Live Launches
Wait. So we can't just load the new roster? We need to both load the latest roster update (4/22 in this case) AND save it using the Save Live Roster command? Sorry, I'm really not an idiot, just a little confused about the exact process. Thanks!Comment

Just save it once a week (Every Monday) and Load that new roster before you play TSL.Comment

Re: MLB 13: The Show Live Launches
I loaded the latest online roster before going into The Show Live and I'm still seeing issues. Rookies from the first week such as Jackie Bradley Jr. for the Red Sox, Evan Gattis for the Braves, and Jedd Gyorko for the Padres still show up as "TBD" in the opening week games. When you actually play the games, they are not there like they are supposed to be. So no, loading the online roster does not solve all the problems.
Also, using L2 and R2 to scroll through the calendar doesn't even work anymore because it's already gotten so bloated.
EDIT: Also, playing the Red Sox @ Blue Jays game from 4/5/13 and Clay Buchholz is in Boston's closer spot. And yes, this is with the latest roster update loaded before I went into the mode.Last edited by AnEternalEnigma; 04-28-2013, 07:02 PM.Comment

I just played tonight's Braves @ Tigers game on The Show Live with the 4/22 rosters loaded and Brian Wilson was in the Tigers bullpen.

Re: MLB 13: The Show Live Launches
That would be incredibly stupid if that's the case. I shouldn't have to keep all the rosters on my hard drive and load one for the week I want to play. This mode was advertised as pulling all the data from the servers so if the player is in the roster I have loaded, it should work. Horrible design if that's true, although I doubt it is.
