What about them?

They happen in real life too, i just chalk them up to a GM having had too much scotch one night.
Thats it Bobhead, thats EXACTLY it lol.
Up until this year i would do the same, spend hours manually injuring people trying to get the starting situation to replicate reality then it hit me like a brick - why? Within weeks of in-game time the rosters are going to be nothing like matching reality, so why am i bothering?
I started my chise earlier (set it up, havent played the opener yet), and the first thing i saw was the Yanks put their injured quartet of Jeter, Cano, Grandy and A-Rod back in their lineup and it didnt bother me one bit, its what their virtual Cashman should have done, and he did, i want to have to beat the best and not sit all season seeing major stars on the DL "just because they are in real life" - finally realised it aint worth the hassle!

Yep - without doubt, so deep, you have to do what ive bolded to really appreciate it.
Brilliant, same situation as Bobhead, glad you have seen the light too
