    Re: creating yourself...

every year, i create myself as a 3rd baseman in the Reds organization. i would make myself as a 1st baseman but i think i'm pretty well blocked lol. i give myself pretty low attributes so i can stick myself in Single-A or Double-A bench but i make myself from the CAP screen so i have 100% potential so i won't be stuck in the minors til i'm 40 lol

my best season came in 2022 on MLB 10 franchise mode. i hit around .330 (i think) with 55 home runs. i had over 500 home runs by the time i retired

      Re: creating yourself...

In years past I used to make myself a closing pitcher and stick myself at the AAA level, be it All-Star Baseball, MVP or older editions of The Show, but I'd only call myself up if there was a bullpen injury in my 25 man roster, which didn't happen very often.

It's been noted that one Giants pitching prospect in the OSFM roster has been accidentally entered twice in SF's minor league system, so I plan on editing one of them into myself. I'll take that happy mistake.
When the Giants come to town, it's Bye Bye Baby...

I'm stuck this year... Like I posted at the beginning, I usually create myself as a first baseman and play on the Cardinals... but this year with craig signing the new contract and playing 1st, the outfield crowded .. can't play Craig there.. where do I go.. the minors? Possibly, but I'm one of those attitudes that will complain if I don't get enough playing time..haha

I'm not really familiar with the Cardinals, but there's gotta be somewhere that's weak right?

Left handed pitching is always a need.

                  Re: creating yourself...

I have always created myself as a SP since....wow, forever. Like All-Star Baseball 97.

The Show is tough because I am a total scumbag and max myself out, but this seems to confuse the Show because I end up being total crap. Up till last year I could never fool guys, throw nasty pitches that break towards the corners but if it is just a bit out of the zone, they let it go, if it is a bit in, they hammer it, changing speeds from a 100 MPH fast ball to a 77 mph change never seemed to be of any issue, yet I know for me when the CPU whips out a 70 something curve I will be so far ahead of it......

This year seems a bit different, something has been improved where I seem to pitch with the max out ratings I should.

I cant hit for a lick in this year's game however, the change of speed thing is killing me. It usually did, but now it seems like all these guys have to do is throw a change or curve ball and I will just never come close to hitting, even when I think I am sitting back on it, nothing.
I will see you at THE SHOW!!

                    Re: creating yourself...

Every year they've had RTTS I've done this. back in 06' I played as a CF'er, and ever since then it's been RF for me.

I've gotten better at replicating my face into the game (of course I spend a lot of time on that, and I would like to try my hand on the OSFM ones but for the sake of efficiency I'd rather have someone else do it).

I've seen some people actually edit faces for other people a couple of years ago. It was pretty neat.
