Re: For those who manually injure players....
Ripner put together an awesome list of this, it's back on page 5 of the OSFM V.2 thread.
I made a list of injuries before the season started by the date the player was put on the DL. It is here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3lY...it?usp=sharing the days injured was kind of my guess by information I found online, of course no one really knew/knows when these players would actually be back.
If you injure and put someone on the DL in preseason I can CONFIRM they remain at the level they were in during spring training. So feel free to injure and dl players the date they were injured in spring training if you wish.
Of course you can't injure players for between 71-180 games (or so not sure of the exact). So keep track of the players in a notepad file or something and just manually reinjure them when the first injury is up for the remaining days they should be injured.Comment

Re: For those who manually injure players....
A problem I had in the past were the CPU teams did not put players I hurt on the DL. Has that changed this year? Anyways, in my franchise's the Yankees always start with a AAAA lineup.Green Bay PackersSeattle MarinersNew York Rangers
Syracuse Orange

Re: For those who manually injure players....
If you don't use 30 team control....they will not.
Still a problem they didn't fix.
If you do use 30 team control and manually injure players...you can of course move them to the DL.
The CPU only puts players on the DL with injuries on.
I guess they forgot that you can't do it if you only control one team when they added the manual injury option.

Hmmmm....interesting idea and I'm kind of pissed I didn't think to try this myself.
I will now though.

Seems like it should work, but I understand with 30 team control why it wouldn't. You control the roster moves of all the teams, so you would have to DL all of them manually. Don't know if there is a setting or what.

Re: For those who manually injure players....
Sorry if this is the wrong place but I can't for the life of me figure out how to injure players. The most recent guide I found to do it was from 2011 and it said push r1 on the disabled list and that didn't work.Comment

Re: For those who manually injure players....
I started my franchise with the real injuries and then anyone in real life who has gone down for the entire season in real life I'll injure them. Kind of different but as of right now I've only done it to Scott Sizemore and Jeff Niemann.Comment
