I started my franchise with real life injuries and estimated return dates, but no new real life ones get put in, only those that occur in the franchise.

What you do is go to settings then gameplay. Hit L1 once to get to the general gameplay settings and keep scrolling til you find injuries. Set to manual, and then go to DL and hit R1.

Re: For those who manually injure players....

I use 30 team control and try to follow the real season as closely as I can as far as injuries go. I have yet to start my franchise but when I do, I will manually injure every player that is currently hurt at the time and un-injure players as the real life players come back.

I really like the manual injuries option. I was not aware this was in the game last year if it was... but I like it now.

Im a little confused about something.

If I manually DL a player, how do I remove him from the Active MLB roster and replace him for the duration of his DL stint with another 40 man player, rather than leaving him on the bench, unplayable?

            30 team control?
You go back to the screen that shows the 15 and 60 DL list and move him on that page.

Re: For those who manually injure players....

Every time this thread bumped up I'm thinking that those who manually injure players must not be good GM/managers. They have responsibility to take decent care of their players' health situations.

                Thank you!

Once their 15/60 day is over, will I get a message that they are done & I have to add them back, or is this automatic?
