For the people wanting to download the patch but afraid of pitch stutter. Copy your save data to a flashdrive adn then install the patch. if its brings it back. Then delete it and re copy the save data from the flash drive to the PS3. That way you can still have the second patch. But i also believe HustlinOwl (hope thats right) uploaded the patch to a filesharing site. Might be able to find it in the last patches thread.

I'll have to double check this but I DO NOT believe that patch data can be copied or shared like that.

Exactly it really is a total loss plus not everybody knows about or uses those rosters. It sucks knowing there isn't a single real rookie on the game. It kinda baffles me that it has been completely ignored by the dev team. I mean at least throw us a bone and let us know something. I held out for this patch hoping a fix would be made. It really does take a lot out of franchise mode.

Count me in that boat as well for thinking we won't see another patch. There has been three already and going by what was said in the last patch thread there are no plans for another. That's why I really don't understand not putting the couple of other issues that have been made known in this patch.

Stutter for me now worse then ever trying to play online. Geez. Delete some save data, the patch, re-installing the patch and see what happens. Damn!

Removed all Show related, didn't install the 10GB to HDD but the smaller version and the latest path. Works like a charm for me.

None of the guys on the game who are actually rookies are classified as such. The only one in the entire game is Wada from the Orioles. So if you do a franchise or season mode there really is nobody in the running for the rookie of the year award cause there aren't any in the game. The only players who ever get rookie status are created prospects. There have been sims I have ran before where not a single player won the ROY award in the first year and the same trash created prospect from the Red Sox wins it in the AL every time with numbers like a .210 avg with 2 HR's and 15 RBI's.

So how this fixed the strikeout problem being too low? I'm not sure how that isn't addressed yet. People say it has been resolved but nothing has changed!

Are you kidding? You either haven't downloaded update 1.18 or the latest that was dropped this morning, or you have no idea what it looked like before the balancing SCEA did.

Played a game post-patch tonight. Had it stutter twice when I was pitching. But it did that sometimes for me even after 1.18. And it did it sometimes last year too.

Strangely, I don't think my menu music skipped at all.

Played a game in my franchise against Cleveland post patch and didn't notice any stuttering at all. Game went to extras and was in Cleveland and everything played good for me.

Just started my red sox season and two games in not a single stutter with the patch.
