best create-a-player of all sports games

My only criticism is the hair and facial hair. Looks like painted on hair and give me a choice to grow my beard out.

There should be an option for the turtleneck in cold weather, not just always off or always on.

Re: MLB 14 Create a Player Improvement and Accessories Wish list

Some of these have been mentioned, but I'm reposting because I think they are most important and warrant repeating:

        1) Editing player potential: This is a must. I can see no logical reason to restrict users from setting a player's potential or editing it for an existing player. Perhaps someone can explain it to me. It seems a fairly important attribute and having it set randomly at least partially defeats the whole point of editing/creating a player.

        2) Editing pull/push/spray tendencies and hot zones: This is another important atttribute that we need to be able to set. Dead pull hitters and spray hitters are completely different creatures at the plate.

#1 and #2 severely limit the ability to produce custom and historical rosters, because we are limited to the hot zones that are pre-existing to the current crop of players. You have to spend time finding a player with the right potential AND acceptable hot zones to edit.

        3) Add different shades of hair color (light brown/sandy blonde, etc..)

        4) Allow us to see both the stretch motion and the windup when selecting a pitching motion.

        5) Show the plate and batter's box in the batting stance selection screen to better gauge open and closed stances.

        6) It would be a nice addition to include a general editing template function. By this I mean we select a player type and specific ratings will be set for us. For example, for hitting I select "power" or "contact" or "balanced" and ratings will be set in a specific range, which I could then go in and tweak to my liking. You could have template categories for defense and arm strength, power and contact, speed, plate vision, etc...It would cut down the time needed to create rosters. Another possibility is to allow the input of statistics and have the game engine calculate ratings based upon that.

        7) More variation for position combinations is needed. As it stands now, for example, if a player is primarily a utility outfielder but also plays first base, this can't be set. The only way is to make 1B his primary position and OF his secondary position.

        8) For the historical buffs, include goggles a la Chris Sabo.

        9) Not really a CAP issue because it's not in the game...but gum chewing? this is baseball, no? Why isn't this featured?...lol.

That's all I can think of right now. Hats off to SCEA for continuing a great franchise!

This is genius... Even if it doesn't make it in the game, I don't see why someone couldn't make an algorithm and make a website for it... it would be very helpful.

I have noticed a lot of people suggesting hoody's, turtle necks, ect. Things that are worn when it is very cold out.

Please, if these are implemented into the game, fix how warm it is during games or give us an option to wear/not wear these things during the cold.

It seems like my players wear long sleeves even during July, so I would really hate if they were wearing hoody's and turtle necks too. For some reason it is frequently cold enough to wear long sleeves even in June-August. That should definitely be resolved before those things are implemented.

                  In particular order

Edit Service Time. Years instead of days if possible?
Corner Oufielder only Option for secondary position (LF-RF)
                  Utility player option
                  Flip Shades
Bring back shoe 1 from last year.
Brink back batting glove 1 from last year
                  Low Stirips
I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....

1: Individual secondary positions. A 3B might play 1B and 2B, but not SS. A 1B might play LF and RF, but not CF.

2: Hair color sliders where the hue is based on a color. This allows you to have light brown, sandy blonde, or light red hair. This could also be used to allow some gray hair for older players (you could also have a graying effect that begins once a player reaches 35 or so).

Would love an HTML editor or pc editor for rosters similar to NCAA football.

would like to see the player wearing his team jersey in the editor with corresponding colors on wrist bands etc. so i can see what it will look like.

                          more shoe and glove styles

jersey fit sizes...ex: Jayson Werth wears baggy clothes and he just doesn't look right without it

more and better hair options. i saw someone say something about a feature where you could select hair and beard and they would slowly grow lol that would be crazy

No idea why the catcher's masks have continually gotten a free pass around here.

Every single catcher (at least those who rock the "old" style mask) are forced to wear this:

When the reality is (and has been for many years already):

                            Etc.

Also, please add the glove color that is gold. I know the game has a gold colored glove but it's not really gold. The gold I refer to is almost yellow/orange. Like the glove Koji Uehara of the Boston Red Sox wears. Link to picture... http://www.mlbphotos.com/ProductDisp...-30741&index=0

Also, please add the ability to adjust where on the bat the pine tar can be placed.

Also please add the ability locate arm and wrist bands on more areas of the arm and wrist.

Please fit the back straps of the chest and leg protector to actually be on the catchers back and calf rather than touching air.

A bit of a side request as well. The ability to edit non-created players body build. For instance, C.C. Sabathia in the game is way too fat. In real life he does not look that way. Link to current pic... http://www.mlbphotos.com/ProductDisp...-34697&index=0 If the game would allow this for adjustment due to players losing or gaining weight that would create a much more realistic looking player.
this is my biggest want (besides name brands, we got the shirt, its time to add the rest) right now the game uses rawlings models for the gloves, now we need the wilson models at the very least added, different webs, finger cover for pitchers, the outfielders gloves need more options BADLY, especially having gloves with the open hand insert and not just the one with the finger hole.

An editable player value stat for both created players and players already in the game.

This would be great for franchise and RTTS as there would be more realistic trades.

there could two seperate stats, a player value rating (how much the league values the player) and a team value (how much the team and fanbase likes a player)

A guy like Pablo Sandoval is a good example of this. SF loves him and would most likely not trade him for anything that wouldn't include a top prospect. If he were to be on a different team this might not be the case. Also would give more value to role players and utility guys.

It might be a little bit complicated but you could have the game calculate a players value to his team if he's traded by what the team traded for him.

5 Star Value : Untouchable, would only be traded for 3 or more top prospects. (Miguel Cabrera/ Ryan Braun)

4 Star Value : Team would want 1 top prospect and maybe a few lower level guys

3 star value : Team would trade to meet their needs and would accept above average prospects

2 star value : Team would make any trade that helps them in any way.

1 star value : Player is not liked by the team and would give him up for almost anything

Pretty long post but I think this would make major improvements in the CAP, franchise and RTTS. You would almost never see the big named guys get traded all the time.
