    Re: Most Outrageous CPU Trades/Proposals

I'm not so sure the CPU knows what it is doing lol. Not once but twice I traded a great 1B prospect and the other time a 98 overall 1B to CPU teams only to see them on waivers immediately after.

    - So you don't think I am crazy for trading a 98 rated guy, the first prospect I traded, then picked him back up on waivers was young and developing fast so I traded the older higher priced guy. Then he showed up on waivers and was stuck in the minors his whole career.

2 Terrible Trades That Stood Out to Me:

SEA trades Taijuan Walker to ATL for Jonny Venters

BAL trades Dylan Bundy to WAS for Drew Storen

      I mean, c'mon CPU!

I had a hilarious and horrible one offered to me IN MY FAVOR that I couldn't refuse

        PIT (Me) sends Francisco Liariano...
        KC send me Kelvin Herrera....

A very young, near-elite RP for Liariano?

Not realistic, but I couldn't say no

That first one isn't really THAT terrible. Seattle's bullpen stinks, and adding Venters could really help them if they were in a Play Off hunt. They already have plenty of other near ready young arms down in the Minors, so getting rid of Walker wouldn't be that big of a deal to add a proven guy like Venters.

Bundy for Storen is pretty LOL worthy though.

The "Logic" in this game is pretty silly. That's why I use 30 team control.

Walker is easily their highest-touted prospect. Its an awful deal. Seattle didn't even want to give up walker on the Justin Upton deal, so it makes no sense to trade for a struggling Venters.

I think sometimes they want certain guys based on injuries/needs. And I also think they see high player salary on prospects, and rather than just lose them in their final year, they would rather get an older guy they can sign for next nothing that will fill a void until they draft younger guys and get more room under the cap. I think the logic is good, it's just a little overdone on execution.

Derek Jeter, and Doug Bernier for Lester, Big Papi, and Varitek...

Don't remember specific names involved in trades, but RTTS trades I've seen my team made:

                    We traded:
                    80s overall player

                    We receive:
3 AAA-AA level players all with 60-70s overall and C potential.

                    We traded:
                    A potential prospects

                    We receive:
70 overall D level "MLB player"

Started a Pirates franchise recently with the OFSM rosters. I was OFFERED these deals.

                      Wandy Rodriguez to Dodgers
Yasiel Puig to Pirates (78 overall A potential, 21 year old. Dodgers BEST prospect)

                      Garrett Jones to Chi Sox
                      Jesse Crain to Pirates

                      Brandon Inge to Dodgers
                      Dee Gordon to Pirates...

I can't remember who I was sending, but I got Kelvin Herrera from the Royals. I know for a fact I gave up someone trashy.

I'm only a month and a half in and have only seen one crazy trade.

Marlins trade SP Jacob Turner & RP Chad Qualls to the Rockies for SP Drew Pomeranz, SS Trevor Story & 3B Nolan Arenado.

I kno the Rockies are desperate for some pitching but DANG!

I wish the show would implement the NHL 13 Trading system, if you guys haven't seen it check it out. I think it is the best trading system of all sports games.

This made me laugh. Can you imagine the rioting and looting that would occur if that happened in real life?? I'm pretty sure that'd be followed by the 2nd sign of the apocalypse...
